TITLE: STRIVE AGAINST THE UNFORGIVING SPIRIT

KEY TEXT: “Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye” (Colossians 3:13 KJV).

Unforgiveness is a devilish spirit that one should earnestly pray against. It is a spirit that comes directly from Satan and into its victim, and it is the fastest of all demonic spirits that can turn one into God’s enemy in a second. Moreover, it is a spirit that opens the gates of hell easily and directly fights against what Jesus Christ stands for, hence, anyone who dies with it goes straight to hellfire. Every genuine believer should not wait until the message of forgiveness or unforgiveness is preached to him or her before he or she knows the importance of forgiveness and how deadly the unforgiving spirit can be in the life of any believer possessed by it. It is unfortunate that most believers in this generation are stone-hearted believers who see the Word of God as a film or normal story book. Hebrews 12:14 KJV

TITLE: LOVE, A KEY TO UNLOCK THE DOOR OF MERCY

Key Text: “Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life” (Jude 1:21 KJV).

Not everyone really understands how powerful love is. No one who knows the power of love will miss the rapture. The heart of God is easy to access through genuine, godly love. There is nothing one cannot get or achieve with the power of love. It was through the power of love that redemption came to mankind (John 3:16). The love of God and His mercy is all we need to live our lives and to make it into Heaven at last. Almost everyone is longing for the love of God and the mercy of Jesus Christ, forgetting that love is reciprocal. Sometimes we expect those we hate so much to love us in return. Jesus Christ died for our sins to redeem us while we were yet sinners. He expects us to love Him back to gain His mercy before His highly exalted throne of judgment. Romans 5:8 KJV

TITLE: DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE LITTLE FOXES

KEY TEXT: “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?” (2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV).

The things that normally send well-known and heavenly-minded believers to hell are the little sins that they underestimated. Many who thought they were already in Heaven, found themselves in hell after death and were surprised what they were doing in such a place that they never bargained for. That is why Apostle Paul, through the help of the Holy Spirit, gave a very wise and important advice to all the believers to examine themselves to see whether they are in the faith. Most professing believers are not actually born again, nor are they in the faith. Many had long fallen away, thinking they are still standing in the faith. Many have had their names removed from the Book of Life unknowingly, but still acting as Christians, even when the gate of hell is wide open for the careless souls and sinners. So many feel too big or too important to examine themselves and make amendments if found wanting. 1 Corinthians 10:12 KJV

TITLE: ARE YOU FAMILIAR WITH THE TIMES?

Key Text: "And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment" (1 Chronicles 12:32 KJV).

It is so obvious that the majority of today's Christians are not acquainted with the times that we are in, hence, they are living as if things are the same as they have always been. The system is fast changing, pointing to the exit of this world. All that had been written in the Bible, pointing to the end of the system of this world has taken place. It is unfortunate that the believers of today do not study the Bible but are doing anything their "papa in the Lord" says. Our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, in His earthly mission of man's redemption, never stopped lamenting over the inability of the children of Israel to discern the times. He lamented that they were able to study the weather and know when it would be planting and harvesting season, but they were unable to discern the written promise of God to redeem mankind through Him. Ecclesiastes 3:1 KJV

TITLE: PASSING FROM DEATH TO ETERNAL DAMNATION

KEY TEXT: "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life" (John 5:24 KJV).

How could one read the Scripture in the key text and doubt the existence of hell? I have heard of some believers arguing the existence of hell. They claim that any soul that dies goes to sleep and that is the end, but we read what Jesus Christ Himself said, that anyone who believes in Him and obeys His Word has eternal life and shall not come to condemnation, but pass from death to life. This means there is life for those who live for the safety of their souls after the physical death on earth. What then happens to those who live for themselves while on earth? Remember, the soul and spirit of man are designed to live forever. Hebrews 9:27 KJV

KEY TEXT: “The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him” (Lamentation 3:25 KJV).

The problem with today's believers is impatience and not being ready to let the will of God Almighty be done in their lives. Many believers want God to be in their command. Many pray as if God is under obligation to do what they are asking Him to do. Some challenge God or command Him using what they call the seed of faith. Some even go the extent of lodging money into their pastor's account, hoping God will lodge a double portion of it into their accounts. Many that are looking for the fruit of the womb are not ready to wait on God in holiness, but instead, they are looking for a man of God that could manipulate a baby into their womb. Hence, Satan has made most homes unbearable with half-human and half-marine children as a result of doing all kinds of things to have babies. Proverbs 3:5 KJV

KEY TEXT: “Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time” (1 Peter 5:6 KJV).

Since the beginning of time, pride has been one of the driving forces that have brought down so many from highly esteemed positions. This wicked force is always followed by a rebellious action, which has damned so many souls to hell. The father of all lies, the devil, and the fallen angels were cast down from Heaven to hell as a result of pride and rebellion. No one with a proud heart can successfully walk with God and faithfully follow instructions accordingly. Only a humble man can walk with God and be exalted in due time. That is why it is written that God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. James 4:6 KJV

TITLE: SIN WILL NAKED YOU

KEY TEXT: “And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden” (Genesis 3:8 KJV).

No one would venture into sin or commit iniquity if he or she knew the implication of sin. Sin is worse than an atomic bomb, and could sink the whole world and drag all to hellfire in less than thirty minutes. Sin turns people insane, as only an insane person will be naked and walk on the street without shame. Adam and Eve were people who enjoyed the company of God’s presence as children that God loved so much and delighted to commune with them. The Bible said that God would come to them and have fellowship with them, and this fellowship was on as long as holiness and righteousness was in place. The voice of God was what Adam and Eve always longed to hear, but the same voice of God became a sound of terror in their ears the moment they sinned against God. The presence of God which they used to enjoy became what they ran away from, as soon as sin came in. Isaiah 59:2 KJV

TITLE: WHO YOU FOLLOW MATTERS

Key Text: “Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch” (Matthew 15:14 KJV).

Not every believer has the knowledge of the implication of what it means to follow someone. Most believers are the way they are today because they are living like sheep without shepherds, worldly and rebellious because of the ungodly and wolves in sheep's clothing men of god they are following. Hellfire is getting more enlarged and people are dropping into it as a result of those who are foolishly following them. It is certain that a leader would want those following him to end up with him in the same destination, hence Jesus Christ told His disciples that where He is, they would be also. And truly, all His faithful followers who have exited this world are with Him in His Kingdom. Every follower is under the mercy of the one leading him or her. He or she has no other destination other than where the leader is going. Unfortunately, most leaders are living contrary to the written Word of God, hence both the leaders and followers are heading to hellfire if they refuse to amend their ways before it is too late for them. Luke 6:39 KJV

With all the warnings and signs of the end of the world foretold by Jesus Christ, people are not taking heed. The people would have escaped the destruction of the world by the flood if they heard the warnings of Noah and repented. Instead, they made a mockery of the warnings of God and continued living their carefree lifestyle of sin and grievous iniquities. They saw Noah building the ark, but never saw the flood of destruction coming because their hearts were seared up with sin. Psalm 37:38 KJV
