TITLE: THE VANITY OF WORLDLY PLEASURES

Key Text: "Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity" (Psalm 62:9 KJV).

How could a man with his God's given senses want to kill himself over the things of this world? What is that thing in this world so important when the Bible described man as a vanity, even lower than vanity. Where do riches stand if man is a vanity? It is made known to us through the key text that the man of the flesh is like to vanity, meaning the flesh is nothing like anything else in this world. Therefore, if a man could be regarded as vanity, what could we say about earthly possessions that some people, even most of today's believers are killing themselves for? It means that man's possessions on earth is totally nothing. Can you now see that killing yourself and having unnecessary stress to be rich in this world is all needless? In other words, it is totally an unwise decision to labour for the wind. Ecclesiastes 5:16 KJV

TITLE: NO HIDING PLACE FOR SIN
 
KEY TEXT: "Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is" (1 Corinthians 3:13 KJV).
 
It is chronic foolishness for anyone to think that he or she could hide his or her sins. No amount of good deeds, charitable donations, working in a church, or giving to men of God can be substituted for the forgiveness of sin. Nothing else can get rid of sin but confession, which is God's forgiveness and purging by the blood of Jesus Christ. There are countless souls burning and being tormented in hell, who thought they were deceiving others. Most pastors who thought they were fooling their members died and found themselves in hell. It was too late when they realized they were only fooling and deceiving themselves with all the hypocritical works they were doing to cover their sins. No one wants to be a plus in hell. Everyone must repent of his or her pretentious lifestyle now. Come out and be real in all your endeavours. We must remember that nothing can be hidden from God. 2 Corinthians 4:2 KJV

TITLE: OVERCOME BY OBEYING GOD

KEY TEXT: “The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace” (Exodus 14:14 KJV).

God knew there was no way the Israelites could have escaped the wrath of king Pharaoh when he pursued them to the Red Sea. God was the only Saviour they had, but He needed their obedience to save them. What was the command? That they should hold their peace and be still. The same thing God expects from His children who are running up and down, killing themselves over things He could easily do for them if they obey His Word, hold their peace, and watch Him fight for them. So many believers are fighting unending battles while some have given up the fight, and some have surrendered to the enemy by seeking help where help can never come from. A lot of believers died fighting, and eventually found themselves in hell. 2 Chronicles 20:15 KJV

TITLE: WHAT ARE YOU MOSTLY TRUSTING GOD FOR?

KEY TEXT: “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13 KJV).

God is more interested in what one needs from Him than what he or she is doing for Him. God is not a man that could be brainwashed or manipulated with eye service. God goes for the intention before the action; He knows man is deceptive and manipulative in nature. Most people who are doing charitable donations have ulterior motives. I am
not too concerned about those doing it for ritual purposes. I am talking about the children of God who would not ordinarily give to the poor, unless there is something they are trying to get from God; it is those who use their giving to the needy as a means to bribe God to do things for them. God is not a man that could be bribed. Matthew 6:1 KJV

TITLE: A REMINDER OF JESUS CHRIST'S SURE RETURN

KEY TEXT: “For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom” (Matthew 16:27-28 KJV). 

So many people, even believers, have lost hope in the coming of Jesus Christ. Many said two thousand years is too long to wait for Jesus Christ to come back as He promised, but they forgot that the delay was for their own good and for the salvation of the lost souls. However, it is not going to last longer anymore, because all that Jesus Christ said that would happen before His coming has happened. God is not a man that will lie, but unfortunately, the children of God are not seeing the world closing up because its existence is expiring. The time for the earth and the elements in it to be dissolved with fervent heat has come, according to the Scripture in 2 Peter 3:10. It is a pity that most human beings on earth shall be dissolved with the earth, and afterwards, join the devil in the lake of fire for their rebellion and resistance to the truth. But why would you be a victim when the Lord Jesus Christ, in His infinite mercy and loving kindness, came to this sinful world to die a horrible and disgraceful death on the cross? He was led like a sheep to the slaughter when He offered Himself to be the sacrificial Lamb for your redemption. He did this to purchase your freedom from eternal condemnation. Acts 1:10-11 KJV

TITLE: SEEK GOD'S BLESSING IN HOLINESS

The Bible verse in today's key text is an eye-opener for anyone calling on God for anointing, protection, or blessings. Everything that comes from the throne of God is holy and pure. No wonder Jesus Christ said, “Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.” So, if you are living in sin and still performing miracles or singing under what you call the Holy Spirit, you are sending your soul to hell. TITLE: SERVICE UNDER GOD'S WRATH

Key Text: “God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day” (Psalm 7:11 KJV).

The worst thing a man could do to himself (which most believers are now joyfully doing) is to serve God in His anger. Many believers’ service are drawing God's anger and piling up on them without them knowing. Many believers are fervently serving God with great zeal under His anger. How does one expect a responsible father to be happy when his children are doing the opposite of what he told them to do? Any service one renders to God in disobedience and against the Word of God is wickedness and pushes God to wrath, and such a service is rendered under God's anger. God has given humanity the do's and don'ts in serving Him. But so many believers have decided to incur the wrath of God ignorantly or knowingly. Isaiah 3:8 KJV

TITLE: BE MINDFUL OF YOUR BORROWED LIFE

Key Text: "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me" (Galatians 2:20 KJV).

Would there ever be believers like Paul, the apostle again? Believers who would recognize that the life they are living is not theirs, but was borrowed to them by Jesus Christ (who died to purchase it from the hands of Satan whom humanity willingly handed over through rebellion in the garden of Eden)?. Apostle Paul knew he was living a borrowed life and he lived it for Christ completely. There is a great difference when using what was bought with money from what was borrowed. Only a fool would borrow money from the bank and use it to organize a party just to see everyone eating, drinking, and making all kinds of merriments, knowing that he or she would have to pay back the money with interest. Well, many have actually done so by borrowing money to organize birthday parties, Christmas celebrations and other irrelevant and ungodly parties, only to draw attention to themselves and make themselves important before the eyes of people who do not know how they will suffer to pay back the borrowed money with interest. Psalm 37:21 KJV

TITLE: MAINTAINING GOD'S STANDARD OF MARRIAGE

KEY TEXT: "And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?" (Matthew 19:5 KJV).

God had a perfect plan for couples. He intended marriage to be the most unique and most unified institution. Marriage is the foundation of every other God-given institution. It is the perfect will of God for husbands and wives to be perfectly united,  according to the key text. Is your marriage fulfilling the passage of the Bible in Genesis 2:24? Are you one flesh with your spouse as commanded by God's Word? Beloved of God, what makes you one flesh is not the so-called wedding rings on your fingers, nor is it the children who came from your union. I have heard many times of some couples saying that the only reason they are still together in their marriage is because of their children. Anyone saying such is challenging God's authority and is endangering his or her soul because couples are joined by the Word of God, not by children. Genesis 2:24 KJV

Most unsuspecting souls in hellfire are those who had the opportunity to repent of their sins, accept Jesus Christ and be saved, but they didn't do so because they thought the judgment of God was delayed since the message of Christ return have been preached for more than two thousand years and He hasn't come, hence they could live their lives as they wish since to them there was no judgment or Christ return in view, but little did they know that the delay was to their own profit, to obtain salvation so that their soul would not be damned. Hebrews 12:29 KJV
