TITLE: WAIT ON GOD FOR A GLORIOUS CHANGE

KEY TEXT: “The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him” (Lamentation 3:25 KJV).

The problem with today's believers is impatience and not being ready to let the will of God Almighty be done in their lives. Many believers want God to be in their command. Many pray as if God is under obligation to do what they are asking Him to do. Some challenge God or command Him using what they call the seed of faith. Some even go the extent of lodging money into their pastor's account, hoping God will lodge a double portion of it into their accounts. Many that are looking for the fruit of the womb are not ready to wait on God in holiness, but instead, they are looking for a man of God that could manipulate a baby into their womb. Hence, Satan has made most homes unbearable with half-human and half-marine children as a result of doing all kinds of things to have babies. Proverbs 3:5 KJV

GOD NEVER FAILS: I do not know what you are going through now, but God has a solution to it with a set time, so that His name will be glorified. Remember, God will never set a time beyond the period that someone cannot wait for or a time that one cannot bear. He knows our strength. He did it to Job and came in His glory to rescue him at that set time. Job waited, God manifested, Job was celebrated and God's name was lifted in glory. Maybe your case is worse than that of Job who lost all his children and all that he had in the same day. He had a strange sickness that no one could treat and he became a laughing stock to those who used to regard him in high esteem. You still have hope of a glorious change through Christ, even if your case is worse than the one I just listed above. Job waited in God. If only you would also wait for God to finish His work and glorify Himself in your life. Job 14:14 KJV

WAIT IN HOLINESS: Another problem many believers have is waiting and wasting. They wait in error. They profess to be waiting on God, yet they are doing all kinds of evil. Some wait on God but stop working for God. I have seen a man of God who left doing God's works to wait on God in order to change his situation, then to come back to do God's work. That is waiting and wasting away. You do not abandon God and think you are waiting on Him. Some cause problems in the church while they profess waiting on God. Their gossiping, lying, adultery and idolatry, etc., increase in their so-called waiting. You should not be like them. You must keep doing what you are doing for God while waiting. Keep your hands clean and your heart pure in the order of Job while waiting. Do not try to transfer the agression to other people while waiting. Pray more, do good more, love more, and strive for perfection in holiness while waiting. God Almighty, in His unfailing love and mercies, will surely smile on you and put all your mockers to silence to His glory. Please keep hope alive your testimony is on the way. Psalm 27:13-14 KJV 


PRAYER: O Lord, my God, please have mercy on me for abandoning my duties because of what I was going through. Please forgive me, and grant me the grace to patiently wait on you, as I steadfastly do my duties to glorify you, knowing that my change will come from you, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31 KJV).
