TITLE: UNENDING PEACE IN OBEYING GOD

KEY TEXT: “The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace” (Exodus 14:14 KJV).

God knew there was no way the Israelites could have escaped the wrath of King Pharaoh when he pursued them to the Red Sea. God was the only Saviour they had, but He needed their obedience to save them. What was the command? That they should hold their peace and be still. This is the same thing God expects from His children who are running up and down, killing themselves over things God could easily do for them if they obey His word. He expects them to hold their peace and watch Him fight for them. So many believers are fighting unending battles, while some have given up the fight and have surrendered to the enemy by seeking help where help can never come from. A lot of believers died fighting, and eventually found themselves in hellfire. 2 Chronicles 20:15 KJV

Many believers are experiencing a crash or delay in their destinies, and most of them are the architects of the delays in their destinies' fulfilment. How could you expect the Lord to help you fulfil your destiny when you are not doing anything to help His work move forward? How would your destiny not suffer delay when you are procrastinating the work God is expecting you to do for Him? All you think about is yourself and your family. The work of God means nothing to you. Have a rethink and make the necessary adjustments now, so that you will not die living a life after the shadow. Romans 12:11 KJV

TITLE: REBUKE BUT FORGIVE

KEY TEXT: "Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him" (Luke 17:3 KJV)

Unforgiveness is a dangerous and negatively powerful weapon of destruction in the hands of Satan when given access to use against a believer. Unforgiveness is so dangerous that our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, had to lay emphasis on it during His earthly ministry of man's redemption. Unforgiveness is a sin that has no escape route, unless one forgives his or her offender. Confessing it to God and crying for mercy for not forgiving anyone does not save one from the hands of Satan. Sowing seeds and doing all forms of religious work will not save anyone from the sin of unforgiveness. Psalm 103:10 KJV

Man was created in the holiness and righteousness of God. He had the fullness of God’s likeness and manifested the complete seven spirits of God. Man was given authority and complete dominance over every creation of God. What a life worth living! The angels and heavenly beings used to admire man in the garden of Eden, because they saw how God had fellowship with man. No wonder Satan was envious and did everything within his crafty nature to pull man down from his glorious place of dominion. Genesis 1:28 KJV

 TITLE: REJOICING OVER A REJECTED WORK

 KEY TEXT: "Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth" (1 Corinthians 13:6 KJV).

 If only those so-called big men of God knew what God was saying about their work and what is ahead of them, they would swallow their pride and be humble. It is a pity that the majority of those doing God's work are rejoicing over what they are doing in iniquity while the Owner of the work is lamenting. The worst thing that could happen to a believer is for him or her to rejoice while doing something for God and be rejected by the same God. Any service rendered to God that He is not pleased with is considered a work of iniquity. So many believers are rendering services of iniquity but refuse to repent and amend their ways. Many ministers of the Gospel have been fired by God a long time ago, but they are still working and getting praises from their congregations. What a pity and shame it would be when they are told by God to get out and that He does not know them. Matthew 7:21-23 KJV

 TITLE:  COMPLAINERS NEVER COMMAND

 Key Text: “And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?” (Exodus 17:3 KJV).

 God is looking for Joshua in this generation who will move into action at the command of God without complaining. No wonder Joshua never lost any battle in his life time because he never doubted God nor complained over the mission God gave to him, though it was a difficult task. Complaining is very detrimental in the life of a child of God. Christians end up blaspheming the name of God and grieving the Holy Spirit once they start complaining over situations that would have been handled easily with a simple prayer of faith. The ability to effectively think right to end up with positive result is hindered by the attitude of complaining; hence, avoidable mistakes start occurring and could some times lead to regrettable error. Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV

TITLE: SAFETY IN SUBMISSION

KEY TEXT: “The haters of the Lord should have submitted themselves unto him: but their time should have endured for ever” (Psalm 81:15 KJV).

Looking at the key text of today's message, we understand the importance of submitting to God and the consequences of not submitting to Him. What is submission? It means to yield or give way to another. To submit to God means to yield to His authority, fully surrender, and end all resistance. For us to have the life of God in us, we must surrender to His will concerning our lives. God knows what is ahead of us that we do not know, therefore, yielding to His Word means getting life from God. Matthew 7:21-23 KJV

TITLE: HAVE YOU SUBMITTED TO GOD?

KEY TEXT: “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7 KJV).

The seventy disciples of Jesus Christ in Luke 10:17 came from evangelism and their report to Jesus Christ was not how many souls they won, nor how much distance they covered in telling the cities and villages about the Kingdom, but their testimony was rather how demons and unclean spirits honored them and bowed to them at the name of Jesus Christ. This is not a bad thing for any child of God to experience, but Jesus Christ was not interested in what they were rejoicing about. He told them in Luke 10:20 to rather rejoice in being registered as children of God with their names written in the Book of Life, than rejoicing that they have authority over demons. The same thing applies to the believers of today, who want to see themselves resisting the devil and demons fleeing at their command. Psalm 84:11 KJV

TITLE: REEVALUATE YOUR SPIRITUAL STANDING

Key Text: “For to be carnally minded [is] death; but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace” (Romans 8:6 KJV).

The worst thing that could ever happen to anyone is to live without Jesus Christ, and the worst that could happen to a believer is to be carnally minded. Those who do not believe in Jesus Christ and those who believe in Him but are carnal, are both heading to the same destination (hellfire), according to John 3:18 and Romans 8:6. Unfortunately, most believers think they are living, but they are actually dead. Many think that it is only when they sleep and never wake up that they would be considered dead. The painful truth is, anyone living outside the ways of God or in parallel lines to Jesus Christ is considered dead (1 Timothy 5:6). It is written that to be mindful of the perishable things of this world of vanity is death. Those who want to have a place in Heaven should pay more attention to things that have eternal value. Colossians 3:1-4 KJV

TITLE: WHEN WILL YOU SERVE GOD?

KEY TEXT: “In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind” (Job 12:10 KJV).

I am not asking the reader of this message if he or she will serve God, but when and where? Because I know everyone will definitely serve God, either with clear eyes here on earth or under duress and torment in hell. Yes, you must either serve God joyfully and be accepted by Him now on earth or in hell where it will no longer be acceptable. It is a pity that so many people do not see any reason why they should serve God. To them, serving God is a waste of time and energy. The rich believe only the poor (who need money or healing) are to serve God, since they have the best hospitals at their disposal. They believe they are very healthy and live in a very clean environment. In fact, hygiene is their second nature. Some only go to church to showcase their wealth and give donations. Ephesians 5:15-17 KJV
