TITLE: BEING VIOLENT IN THE SPIRIT (PART 3)

KEY TEXT: Matthew 11:12 KJV: “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.”

A violent believer in the spirit has no room for complacency (noticing a wrong thing going on and doing nothing about it). They do not have one foot in Christ and the other out. They are not lukewarm. Only violent believers possess the Kingdom of God. The Bible did not say that they take it by negotiation. Believers take what belong to them by maintaining their beliefs. Revelation 3:15-16

TITLE: BEING VIOLENT IN THE SPIRIT (PART 2)

KEY TEXT: Acts 2:14 KJV: “But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words.”

As Peter addressed the congregation in boldness and violence in the Spirit, they were pricked in their hearts, asking what steps they should take next. Today, God is looking for those who will address the people in holy violence. Those who can stand, no matter how ugly the situation is; those who can challenge Satan and say that no matter how tough it may be or how long their expectation has tarried, they will continue to serve God. Acts 2:37

TITLE: BEING VIOLENT IN THE SPIRIT

KEY TEXT: 1 Kings 18:40 KJV: “And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.”

A true believer who is violent in the spirit and does not partake in whatever provokes the anger of the Lord, can cause trouble and commotion in the kingdom of darkness. That child of God will be a terror to anything the powers of darkness are doing. Elijah, a true servant of God, focused on doing the work of the Father and entering the Kingdom of God. He could not stand the atrocities done by Ahab against God. Ahab, married to Jezebel, built an altar to Baal, among other things, to provoke God. 1 Kings 16:33

Maintaining steady faith in God is a deep personal spiritual journey. Everyone must definitely make a decision to faithfully walk with God. There are some conditions that one must meet to enhance steady faith in God. PRAYER AND MEDITATION: Regularly connecting with God through prayer and meditation helps deepen one's relationship with God and allows for a sense of peace and guidance. HEBREWS 12:1-2

We are living in a time where people think they can be slaves and masters at the same time. A generation where people want to serve and work for the devil and expect to enter into the Kingdom of God. A generation of people that sold their salvation for material gain and want to hold onto the blessings of God at the same time, forgetting that salvation and the blessings of God go together. When one is missing, the other would follow suit. Many children of God are not ready to serve God or obey Him, yet they are ready to enjoy God's blessings. They forgot it's written to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteous and all other things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33

We can stay for years without quarrelling with brethren. Satan cannot come if we do not allow him. He could not get Job because Job was living right and not a gossiper, or a man of jealousy, etc. His perfection pushed Satan away. Our perfection and love for another will make Satan look at us from a distance. Let us live to frustrate the devil by loving genuinely. Let us also pray in unity and no power will be able to block our prayers. Galatians 5:13-14

KEY TEXT: 1 Corinthians 10:14 KJV: “Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.”

The Bible urges us to flee from idolatry. It is not until you carve an image and say you are serving it that you are idolatrous. The lofty mind you carry, making you worship yourself, is an idol.  Allow peace to reign in other people's hearts. Let us allow one another to live in peace. Let us love others genuinely, not loving others from the front and biting them at the back. Ephesians 4:2

I should stop hurting you and you stop hurting me. Allow others to serve God joyfully. If they should expect temptations, let it be from those from far and not from those who are close. Let us also be truthful with one another. If you are angry at a brother/sister, approach them and let them know you are not happy with their behaviour. Matthew 18:15

Some people have handed over their own glory to the devil. How? The Bible says that pride goes before a fall. The day they raised themselves above measure is the day they handed over their glory to the devil. The day you raised yourself is the day your glory flew away from you. You know the prideful life you are living. You know where you have put yourself that you are not supposed to be. You know where you have exalted yourself in your mind. Isaiah 14:14-15

There were many false men and women in the past (and also to this day) who claimed they were the way that led to Heaven. They claimed to be Jesus Christ or God and that they were leading those who followed them to Heaven. Men and women who claim to be what they are not are confused and are confusing their blind followers. Unfortunately, most of these so-called gods are represented by cows, goats, serpents, statues, or dead people's bones, while others are led by those who have made a covenant with the devil. None of these people can boldly confess their stance on God. Matthew 7:15

TITLE: FORGIVENESS FROM THE HEART

KEY TEXT: EPHESIANS 4:32 KJV: “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.”

FORGIVENESS DEFINED: Forgiveness in the Bible is a "release" or a "dismissal" of something. Biblical forgiveness is the process of forgiving someone or being forgiven, as illustrated in the Bible. Forgiveness itself is defined as the letting go of sin. In the Bible, this includes forgiving everyone, every time, for everything. God has forgiven us our sins, and we also have to forgive others of their trespasses. Let go of any hurt anyone may have caused you. Matthew 18:35
