TITLE: STOP CELEBRATING SIN

KEY TEXT: “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord” (Acts 3:19 KJV).

There are countless souls that once sinned while they were alive that are in Heaven today. People do not go to hell because they sinned unwillingly, but they go to hell because of their unconfessed sins. God is not angry when one sins unknowingly, but He is angry when one sins and feels comfortable in it without confessing it in fear and trembling. That is the state of most Christians today. Many believers enjoy living in iniquity because their pastors do not condemn sin, or they have gotten a hold of one Bible verse that they feel encourages them to live in sin to their own detriment. It is heartbreaking to hear believers encouraging themselves in sin by saying that no one is righteous, and none can do without sinning because the Bible says in Romans 3:23 that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. So, according to them, everyone has been labelled as a sinner and should keep on sinning. This is how Satan has deceived humanity into living in sin, sending them to hellfire. Isaiah 5:14 KJV

TITLE: HOW MUCH DO YOU VALUE YOUR SALVATION? 

KEY TEXT: “For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory” (Isaiah 3:8 KJV).

Just as Jesus Christ greatly expected to see Stephen in His Kingdom (to the point that He stood to welcome him while they were yet stoning him), so are lots of souls in hellfire who were expected in Heaven. The saints and angels were rejoicing and waiting in great anticipation for them. Not only was Heaven expecting them, but most of the damned souls in hellfire actually had their missions ready for the great work which they did in faith while on earth before they deviated, sabotaging their souls, not knowing their time to exit the earth was close. They fell into sin, death struck, and they immediately found themselves at the judgment seat of Christ, where they were told, “Depart, I never knew you!” Ezekiel 18:20 KJV

TITLE: THE “LOT'S WIFE” GENERATION

Most of today's believers are either like Lot's wife or worse than her. Jesus Christ compared the heavenly race of fleeing this world of sin into Heaven, to Lot and his family fleeing Sodom and Gomorrah to the mountain for safety. Hence, Jesus told us (the believers) to remember what happened to Lot's wife and take heed, so that we do not fall victim to her damnation. Just as today's believers, Abraham, a friend of God, interceded for Lot’s wife and her family. She had a righteous husband by her to flee with, along with physical angels holding her hands to escape the wrath of God, yet she perished because of her stubbornness and love for Sodom and Gomorrah. Mark 8:36-37 KJV

Most believers wonder why the wicked are prospering in their wickedness. Some ask why the Muslims are prospering, even when they do not serve God the way believers do. You may ask, “Why does it seem like God favours the Muslims more than the Christians when it comes to earthly blessings?” You may have even lived with an unbeliever, Hindu, Muslim, etc., and saw them making it effortlessly and flying like an eagle in prosperity while you keep moving from one fasting and prayer to another, trying to make things work, yet things are not working as you desire. Then you begin to wonder why? The answer is that you are under the covenant of Isaac with God. Ishmael had no covenant with God, hence no law is binding him. Genesis 17:1-27; Jeremiah 31:31 KJV

TITLE: APPROACH HIM PRAYERFULLY AND WISELY

Every genuine, born-again wife wants her husband and children to be in Christ as she is, but the devil hates to see a family serving God together. He knows that it will be difficult for him to penetrate and cause havoc, so he tries to put them apart spiritually. It is evidently clear that women are more than men in the journey of true holiness to Heaven in today's Church. Most women have embraced the message of pure holiness, which is the ONLY way one can enter the Kingdom of God. It is painful to see that most of these women are in it alone without their husbands joining them, and some are not finding it easy to live a holy life under a husband who opposes what they know is true and right. Many are under tension and pressure in their marriages, and some homes are on the verge of breaking up. Ephesians 5:25 KJV

The Word of God should make every believer tremble. Jesus Christ, the Almighty God, left His holy throne in Heaven and suffered shamefully to save mankind from eternal damnation and the furious, impending judgment. We need to ask ourselves a few questions: What are we doing to show that we are sincerely awaiting His coming? How much do we appreciate Him? How faithful are we in our walk with Him? Do we really have time for Him? Are we apportioning all the time we have to people, our families, and ourselves, forgetting that our souls need our attention the most? Isaiah 55:6-7 KJV

KEY TEXT: “Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king” (1 Peter 2:17 KJV).

The Word of God commands us to honour everyone. The question is, how many Christians are actually keeping this in the Church of today? Do we really give honour to everyone? Are we not selective in giving honour to the people who are richer or wealthier in the Church? The rich are highly rated while the poor are completely neglected in most churches. This was not the case when Christ was physically on earth. He was always with the poor and did not neglect the rich. Mark 12:31 KJV
