TITLE: A PEACEFUL AND JOYFUL HOME IS POSSIBLE 

KEY TEXT: "And my people shall dwell in a peaceable habitation, and in sure dwellings, and in quiet resting places" (Isaiah 32:18 KJV).

It is baffling to hear believers say that there cannot be a perfect marriage, as if marriage was ordained by a man. Marriage was designed by God to showcase His beauty on earth. Marriage was established on a perfect foundation by God who is perfect. Anything less than perfection in a marriage is an occasion for the enemy to mock God. Many are willingly giving Satan the occasion to mock God in their homes.

FOLLOW THE BIBLE'S PRINCIPLES: God Almighty, who established the union called marriage, has given the governing principles of how a home should be managed by couples. Perfect observance of the principles brings about a perfect home. The problem many couples have is that they try to manipulate things outside the Word of God. Any couple that follows the Word of God while managing their homes will see God defending His interest against the intruder of their marriage. It is written in Ephesians 5:28 that men should love their wives as themselves, meaning husbands must not see their wives as second-class citizens. Any godly husband would see his wife as himself. It has become a normal thing to take care of things domestically, like caring for children, cooking, washing dishes, cleaning the house, shopping, etc. Taking care of the family should not be seen as the wife's duty only. Godly and heaven-bound couples joyfully do things together in the house. Ephesians 5:33 KJV

TITLE: PREACH AND LIVE FOR THE TRUTH 

KEY TEXT: “From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him” (John 6:66 KJV). 

If you carefully read the key text, you will see that many of Jesus Christ's disciples were offended when they heard the bitter truth about who Jesus Christ was. They concluded that it was a hard saying that who could hear it? They immediately stopped following Him because the truth was too hard to bear, and they could not preach it. Did them leaving Jesus Christ stop Him from telling the truth about Himself? Absolutely not. Jesus Christ was not moved or discouraged, even when those who left Him were more than those who remained with Him in the ministry. Instead, He continued preaching the truth, not minding if everyone would leave Him. He never ran after those who left and dragged them back, but He only turned to the twelve and asked them if they would also go away. But Peter was wise to answer rightly. John 6:67 KJV

TITLE: THE VANITIES OF WORLDLY PLEASURE 
KEY TEXT: “But she that liveth in pleasure is dead while she liveth” (1 Timothy 5:6 KJV).


There are many walking corpses all over the world. Many are physically healthy and wealthy, but they are dead unknowingly. What is the essence of eating food when the intestines and the rest of the digestive system are destroyed in the body? Any food eaten is automatically wasted and poisoned to an already dying body. The same is to anyone living in the pleasure of sin when the soul is not right with God. There is nothing more foolish than one is on his or her way to eternal damnation, yet acquiring the temporary things of this world. The world can only offer temporary happiness. Eternal damnation with torment awaits anyone who dies enjoying the pleasures of the world in iniquity. Psalm 144:4 KJV

TITLE: ZEALOUSLY WALKING ON THE BROADWAY TO HELLFIRE

KEY TEXT: “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it” (Matthew 7:13-14 KJV).

Jesus Christ will never hide anything from anyone, so that no one will have an excuse to give at the end. He has told everyone the way that leads to Heaven and the one that leads to destruction. He categorically told us that the way that leads to hellfire is wide and anything can go through it. Comedians could go through the road, cracking jokes about the holy things of God. Pastors giving false prophecies instead of preaching the truth to pull people from sin are seen on that road. Worldly dressings, bleaching of the skin, prostitutes paying tithes with polluted money are allowed on the wide road to hellfire. A sister could marry another woman's husband and be a deaconess on the wide way. A deacon could also be a husband of two or more women on the way that leads to eternal damnation. A choir mistress could be a fornicator, and a choirmaster could be a smoker or fraudster on the wide road to hellfire. A pastor could be an adulterer, a false preacher and still climb the pulpit on the wide road to eternal destruction. 1 Peter 1:15-16 KJV

TITLE: STOP CHALLENGING GOD WITH YOUR WORK

KEY TEXT: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 KJV).

Beloved of God, the key text of today's message says that God so much loved us that He gave us His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ. You, the reader, and I, the writer of the message, can agree that we are not in the picture of man's redemption. It is an unmerited privilege to work for this great and mighty God. Nothing else qualifies us to do anything for and with God but mercy. The love of God is what drew us to Him. Our acclaimed work of righteousness would rather push us far from God. We are saved, drawn near to God, and allowed to work for God by mercy, the washing of regeneration, and the renewing of the Holy Ghost, which He shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ, our Saviour. Titus 3:5-6 KJV

TITLE: LOVE IS RECIPROCAL 

KEY TEXT: “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets” (Matthew 7:12 KJV).

Most children of God today see love as a one-sided thing. Many want to receive what they cannot give out. Some brethren complain that their pastors are not caring or the leader in their department does not care about them, because they do not call to ask after them. How many times have they called the pastor to check on him and his family? Maybe the only time they called the man of God is to complain or request for prayer. The Bible said that we should care for one another; it is not one-sided. Husband and wife must love and care for each other, friends must learn to care for one another, and brethren must learn to care for their pastors as they wish the men of God to care for them (even though most men of God today only know how to milk their members, not caring for their wellbeing and for their souls). The key text of today's message marks the bedrock of true and genuine love. Until one is able to put others in his or her place, he or she does not have the mind of Christ. Holiness starts from knowing to put others in your place. 1 Peter 2:17 KJV

TITLE: HOW MUCH DO YOU VALUE YOUR SOUL?

KEY TEXT: “In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (John 14:2-3 KJV).

The believers in the early Church lived their lives focusing on their eternity with God. The things of this world were counted as vanity to them. Material acquisition was not in their agenda, hence, they could sell all they had and distribute to those who had not, and none lacked anything, unlike today, where the men of God are living luxuriously, and those they are leading are like beggars. In the early Church, men of God and their followers understood what Colossians 3:1-3 actually meant. It is imperative to examine one’s soul to see if it is in line with the Word of God. One may think his or her ways are right with God, hoping to enter Heaven easily. Most people who are in hell had the hope of entering Heaven through self-estimation, but were disappointed. 1 Peter 1:14-16 KJV

TITLE: STOP BEING UNFRUITFUL

KEY TEXT: "For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ" (2 Peter 1:8 KJV).

No parent would pray or wish to have children who would grow up and become a liability to them. The dream of every godly and responsible parent is to see their children grow to become useful and helpful to them and the society. How do you expect a mother to be happy seeing her unproductive daughter of thirty years with her in the house, or what parent would be happy seeing their children impregnating women or becoming pregnant, giving birth, and leaving the children for them to care for in their old age, instead of enjoying the fruits of their labour? Not a lot of teachers would be happy to see a student he or she taught become a non-entity, constituting a nuisance to the public, while others are doing well and being useful to themselves, their families, and the society. Matthew 25:21 KJV

TITLE: HOW CONCRETE IS YOUR DECISION TO FOLLOW CHRIST?

KEY TEXT: “And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me” (Luke 9:23 KJV).

Not everyone comes to Jesus Christ with the purpose of taking up his or her cross to follow Him daily. Most people came to Jesus Christ so they can enjoy pleasure, being idle, and partying, which is seen in most churches today. Some see the church as a place where people gather to listen to one's encouraging words every Sunday. Most men of God do not even understand the concept of the cross; they cannot give what they do not have to their members. Those who made up their minds to carry their crosses must understand that we are living in a very critical time. It is a time when almost everything is calling for one's attention to sin and transgress against God. The Bible refers to this as the perilous times. Romans 8:18 KJV

TITLE: YOU ARE LIKE YOUR MASTER 

KEY TEXT: “It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?” (Matthew 10:25 KJV)

It should not be a surprising thing to see young men who claim to be preaching the word of God behaving uncontrollably. They defraud people, defile women, stage manage prophecies and miracles, and lie without fear because that is how they were taught by their so-called godfathers or mentors. It is impossible for a dirty stream to bring out clean water. Expecting these upcoming pastors to be godly and holy is like telling a turtle to change its scale to animal skin. Our Lord Jesus Christ, in His word, told us that those who believe in Him are expected to become like Him. He said out of them shall flow rivers that give life. Jesus Christ wants everyone that is associated with Him to become as He is. He is a life-giver and out of Him comes the redemption of mankind through which the world was delivered from the wrath of God, and through Him salvation is given to the souls of the redeemed. Romans 6:23 KJV
