*TITLE: BE ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING*

*KEY TEXT: Matthew 6:25 KJV: “Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?”*

*If you look at the world today, you will see how it has been engulfed in anxiety. The materialistic attitude of humanity has taken over the entire world. Those who have one car want two, those with one wife want to add another one. There is competition of wealth here and there. This ought not to be so; that is not how God created it. God says to believers that they should not worry over anything. They should not walk like carnal men, with their physical eyes. Romans 8:6*

*For you to survive in this Christian faith, you must be nourished and purified by the Word of God, since it increases your faith and empowers you not to walk carnally. Let your desire be swallowed by heaven, be closer to God by studying and following His word to have a peaceful life here on earth and in heaven. Why was Jesus telling us the things written in Matthew 6:25? It was for us not to be swallowed up by the cares and materialistic things of life. Mark 4:18-19*

*He spoke those words so that we will not allow the most important things that ought to be sought after, be shifted aside. Before you open your mouth, God knows your needs and what you are going through. There are spiritual requirements, however, for you to fulfill to receive your requests. That is why you cannot run like unbelievers to have what you want. The reason why there is corruption everywhere is because humans are never satisfied. Deuteronomy 5:21*

*PRAYER: Almighty Father, give me the grace to commit all my needs and cares to you so I can live in Your peace, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.*
