TITLE: SERVICE UNDER GOD'S WRATH

Key Text: “God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day” (Psalm 7:11 KJV).

The worst thing a man could do to himself (which most believers are now joyfully doing) is to serve God in His anger. Many believers’ service are drawing God's anger and piling up on them without them knowing. Many believers are fervently serving God with great zeal under His anger. How does one expect a responsible father to be happy when his children are doing the opposite of what he told them to do? Any service one renders to God in disobedience and against the Word of God is wickedness and pushes God to wrath, and such a service is rendered under God's anger. God has given humanity the do's and don'ts in serving Him. But so many believers have decided to incur the wrath of God ignorantly or knowingly. Isaiah 3:8 KJV

TITLE: BE MINDFUL OF YOUR BORROWED LIFE

Key Text: "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me" (Galatians 2:20 KJV).

Would there ever be believers like Paul, the apostle again? Believers who would recognize that the life they are living is not theirs, but was borrowed to them by Jesus Christ (who died to purchase it from the hands of Satan whom humanity willingly handed over through rebellion in the garden of Eden)?. Apostle Paul knew he was living a borrowed life and he lived it for Christ completely. There is a great difference when using what was bought with money from what was borrowed. Only a fool would borrow money from the bank and use it to organize a party just to see everyone eating, drinking, and making all kinds of merriments, knowing that he or she would have to pay back the money with interest. Well, many have actually done so by borrowing money to organize birthday parties, Christmas celebrations and other irrelevant and ungodly parties, only to draw attention to themselves and make themselves important before the eyes of people who do not know how they will suffer to pay back the borrowed money with interest. Psalm 37:21 KJV

TITLE: MAINTAINING GOD'S STANDARD OF MARRIAGE

KEY TEXT: "And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?" (Matthew 19:5 KJV).

God had a perfect plan for couples. He intended marriage to be the most unique and most unified institution. Marriage is the foundation of every other God-given institution. It is the perfect will of God for husbands and wives to be perfectly united,  according to the key text. Is your marriage fulfilling the passage of the Bible in Genesis 2:24? Are you one flesh with your spouse as commanded by God's Word? Beloved of God, what makes you one flesh is not the so-called wedding rings on your fingers, nor is it the children who came from your union. I have heard many times of some couples saying that the only reason they are still together in their marriage is because of their children. Anyone saying such is challenging God's authority and is endangering his or her soul because couples are joined by the Word of God, not by children. Genesis 2:24 KJV

Most unsuspecting souls in hellfire are those who had the opportunity to repent of their sins, accept Jesus Christ and be saved, but they didn't do so because they thought the judgment of God was delayed since the message of Christ return have been preached for more than two thousand years and He hasn't come, hence they could live their lives as they wish since to them there was no judgment or Christ return in view, but little did they know that the delay was to their own profit, to obtain salvation so that their soul would not be damned. Hebrews 12:29 KJV

Key Text: “But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God” (Romans 2:5 KJV).

If only those in hellfire knew what they know now, if only they allowed themselves to be told the reality of where they were heading to, if only those that knew where they were heading to took it seriously and did the needful, they wouldn't have been in that horrible, humiliating torment that has no end. It is painful and unfortunate that humanity is not ready to know the truth about eternity, because they are so confined with their physical and carnal surroundings, and have forgotten the life beyond the natural. Unlike the apostles of old who lived with the consciousness of death and eternity, the man of the world and the believers in this generation are so engulfed with the earthly pleasures of this world that is fast passing away. The natural man would hardly believe that a day is coming when the same car he used to carry goods will be where he will lay when he breathes his last breath. Hebrews 9:27 KJV

The message of eternity, heaven and hellfire is now becoming a joke to most believers in this generation. Most Christians do not know the terror of hellfire, not to mention the unbelievers, and this state of spiritual unconsciousness is what gives Satan joy. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in his earthly ministry of human redemption warned and is still warning humanity about the existence and the danger of hellfire, but many are paying deaf ears to His warnings. Humanity has proven to hate to hear the truth about the gospel of Christ, not to talk about hellfire. You can even find people laughing and making jokes about hellfire. It is so sad that the hearts of people are being manipulated by Satan’s agents, recruiting souls into his empire of wickedness and evil. John 8:44-46 KJV

In the past, the children of God were wise enough to know how to overcome the evil and wickedness in their generation through the genuine fear of God that was in them. But it seems the professing children of God in our generation are the ones teaching the children of the world how to package their wickedness and make it look attractive. They teach them how to make sin and rebellion acceptable to the gullible people. 2 Corinthians 4:8-10 KJV

TITLE: YOU HAVE NO MORE EXCUSE TO GIVE BEFORE GOD

Key Text: “And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many” (Matthew 24:11 KJV). 

It is the will of God for all His children to come to Him in Heaven. God so much loved everyone that He came to the world as a son, to be born by a woman that He created in order to deliver humanity from Satan, sin, and hellfire (1 John 3:8). Jesus Christ warned us to beware of the agents of Satan that will come in His name to deceive the people. So sad that with all the warnings about false christs, false prophets, and false preachers, many Christians of today are still in the hands of false preachers, who have covenanted with hellfire and Satan. The goal of these false ministers is to draw unsuspecting souls to hellfire, all in the name of the church. It is a pity many are already damned. The Christians who refuse to discern the spirit the false prophets are operating on and study their Bibles are to be blamed and will have the greater punishment at the end. James 4:17 KJV

TITLE: THE POWER OF GRACE IN HOLY LIVING

Key Text: “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, (12) Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world” (Titus 2:11-12 KJV).

One could clearly understand according to Titus 2:11 what the grace of God is meant to do in the life of a believer. In relation to the Word of God, we could conclude that grace is a teacher, whose main subject is to differentiate good from bad, worldliness from godliness, righteousness from unrighteousness, and purity from iniquity. We learnt from grace that one cannot be a sinner and a saint at the same time. Sadly, some professing believers of this generation are so crafty, thinking they could live worldly and godly at the same time. It is very painful to say that what matters most to God and the Holy Scriptures is not of great importance to so many Christians of today. Romans 6:1-2 KJV

TITLE: THE FEAR AND LOVE OF GOD CONNECTION

KEY TEXT: “In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge” (Proverbs 14:26 KJV).  

It is mind-boggling to see believers professing to love God without the corresponding fruit of the fear of God in them. Some think working in a church or supporting the work of God is the evidence of loving God, forgetting that God looks at the intention in one’s heart rather than the action. When the fear of God is in a man, the grace to love God in all things is given to him. God knows those who fear Him. He will always do great things in their lives that will make them trust Him even more. When the fear of God is in a man, the confidence to stand to defend his love for God, no matter the situation, will always be in him. Anyone who fears God always sees God and not man in all that he does. Proverbs 14:27 KJV
