TITLE: DAILY LIFE OF A PURE CONSCIENCE IS DEMANDED

Key Text: “Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation” (1 Peter 2:12 KJV).

There is always “a fact-checking mirror” watching everyone's actions or lifestyle. No matter how one professes or pretends to be born again, holy or righteous in the eyes of people, it is certain that no one can deceive God, Satan, and himself or herself. No one can lie to himself or herself without knowing that he or she is lying in his or her heart, even if one is a chronic liar or deceiver. Anyone with a dead conscience cannot deceive himself. So, the lifestyle of honesty or falsehood starts from the inside. Many think they are holy with their dishonest lifestyles. They forget that holiness plus righteousness minus honesty is equal to hypocrisy. Now, how honest are you in your walk with God and your dealings with people? Is your conscience giving you good reports about yourself being an honest person? Remember, all liars shall find themselves in the lake of fire, and you are walking majestically to it if you are not honest. 2 Corinthians 8:21 KJV

TITLE: BEWARE OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE 

KEY TEXT: “And it came to pass, after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle, that David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried still at Jerusalem” (2 Samuel 11:1 KJV).

There are so many people like David today, especially those on the pulpit. Many who were once on fire, praying fervently and evangelising when they started with God, suddenly turned their backs on God and concentrated on money immediately the ministry started growing. Now, they are too big to go to the street for evangelism, pray, and even study the Word of God. It is really heartbreaking to see that man is at his most vulnerable state in a time of comfort and pleasure. Humanity has the sense of being vigilant when faced with challenges and difficulties. No wonder God, in His great wisdom, would always allow His children to face some challenges. These challenges are not to punish them but serve as a wake-up call to them. Many vibrant men of God of yesterday, suddenly became weak and ineffective because they started living in comfort, which pushed them into living on past glory in sin and iniquity. Hebrews 10:38 KJV

TITLE: WHY WERE YOU BORN AGAIN?

KEY TEXT: "And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers”(Deuteronomy 6:23 KJV).

The greatest tragedy is for one to profess being born again, but not knowing the reason why he or she was born again. Many believers actually think they are born again, but they are very far away from what they profess. They are being deceived by the congregation they belong to. They think that being in the church, going from one pastor to another for prayers is a sign of being born again. It is so painful and heartbreaking to see that the majority of Christians in our own generation do not understand the meaning of being a Christian or the reason they are born again. Most believers never ask themselves questions about what would have made Jesus Christ leave His glorious throne in Heaven and come to this sinful world to be arrested, judged by His creation, suffer, and be killed by sinful humanity that He created with His own hands. Most believers are like the mixed multitude that left Egypt with the real children of Israel. Isaiah 53:1-12 KJV

TITLE: DO NOT FORGET TO RESPOND WITH “IT IS WRITTEN”

Key Text: “Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve” (Matthew 4:10 KJV).

Jesus Christ did not confront Satan with the power of “I bind you” when He was tempted in the wilderness after forty days and forty nights of fasting and prayer. He knew that there was a time to bind and a time to say, “It is written.” The time of trials and temptation is mostly not the time to bind and loose, but a time to apply the power of “it is written.” Jesus Christ was tempted by the devil with the things of this world. Satan told Jesus Christ to bow down and worship him, promising to give Him the glory of the world, after showing Him all the kingdoms of this world with their glory and riches. Glory be to God that Jesus Christ knew the limit of the things of this world. He knew that Satan cannot give anything good to anyone. Satan has no power over what God has not given him power over. So, He refused to bow down and worship the devil. He told the devil that it is written we shall not worship any creation, except God Almighty, the Creator. Luke 4:6-8 KJV

TITLE: THE LIMITED POWER OF DEATH

KEY TEXT: “Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live” (John 11:25 KJV).

Death is the most dreadful creature. The strongest or most fearless being on earth would see death and be humbled. People who kill human beings like themselves for rituals and other dubious purposes tremble when death knocks at their door. Most people go to church because they need protection against death (both the young and old fear death), and many are trapped in the cage of the spirit of death because of the fear of not wanting to die. Until humanity recognizes the limit in the power of death, they will never be free from the bondage they have subjected themselves in the hands of him that has no power over death (satan). Many people, weak believers especially, are subjected to the fear of death and are enslaved because of the fear of death. Satan has really used the fear of death to bind up a majority of people in his cage. Proverbs 12:28 KJV

TITLE: PROOF OF LOVE FOR GOD IS DEMANDED

It is generally said that Africans, Nigerians in particular, are lovers of God. The reason being is that Africans are so zealous in the things of God. There are more churches in some communities than schools, hospitals, industries, companies, good houses, etc. People in African communities pray daily in the church and attend night vigils more than other tribes or nations. It is undoubtedly agreed that Africa has more servants of God (so to say) than other continents in the world. But does all this really make Nigeria and other African nations lovers of God? Does it really mean that you, who is reading this message, love God? John 14:15 KJV

TITLE: YOU ARE NOT TOO STRONG TO BOW AND CONFESS

KEY TEXT: “Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble” (James 2:19 KJV).

It's written: “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father” (Philippians 2:10-11). This Scripture cannot and will never be broken for anyone. Everyone born into this world must fulfill this Scripture. All authorities and everyone must bow to Jesus Christ and confess Him as Lord of all. It is heartbreaking to see some people that God created as human beings, living as animals, having no guidance or as those who have lost control. Most people, even some so-called believers, live their lives as people who were not given birth to or created by God. They live as though they came from another planet or grew up from beneath the earth (no fear of God in their lives, no human feelings, and their hearts are totally seared up with hot iron). TITLE: FULFILLED BUT ETERNALLY LOST

KEY TEXT: “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” ( Mark 8:36 KJV).

Many have decided to go the way of the rich man in Luke 16:19-32. It is recorded that the rich man was wealthy, lacking nothing. He had enough that his dog had leftovers for poor Lazarus. It could be that he was the pride of the family, because his five brothers were benefactors of his wealth. He was fulfilled in life in the eyes of man, but was a waste of creation eternally. He was condemned while he was yet enjoying the proceeds of iniquity. Many children are taught by their parents to pursue their destinies right from birth. Parents want to see their children fulfilled in life, and most children want to see that their parents are proud of them. All these are very good and advisable, but not to the detriment of one’s soul. A lot of people use their lifetime pursuing careers from one degree to the other. Many travel from one country to the other studying, some go from one business trip to the other, labouring for the wind, and many have died and the wind carried all their labor away while they are eternally lost. Proverbs 14:12 KJV

TITLE: UNMASK THE FALSE IDENTITY OF SIN

KEY TEXT: "Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death" (James 1:15 KJV).

Sin is the most deadly, celebrated, and decorated thing by man on the earth today. Sin is destructive, yet has the most fans and followers. Sin is the most subtle thing anyone could ever think of, as it never comes out plain to its victims. It always comes as a solution to bring one out of a situation. Sin would tell a young boy or girl to make themselves happy by committing fornication. It could tell a decent employee to increase his or her income by stealing the company's money. It will tell couples to abort their babies, so they could have time for themselves. A holiness pastor could be tempted that a little compromise is not falling away from the truth. Sin never comes out with the hidden intention and will never tell its victim the hidden agenda. Romans 6:12-14 KJV

TITLE: THE REBELLIOUS GENERATION

KEY TEXT: "For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil" (Ecclesiastes 12:14 KJV).

God created man in His image and likeness so that He could have an intimate relationship with him, which He could not have with the angels and living creatures in Heaven. Man was formed as a free moral agent, so that he could have the ability to freely live his lifestyle of choice. It is unfortunate that such unmerited power of choice was abused by rebelling against the Creator. Man has, since his fall, been on a rebellion mission against God. History and the Word of God revealed that humans are rebellious in nature and are always doing things that contradicts the plans and will of God. It gives man joy to see God provoked to anger. Humanity has been rebellious to God right from the beginning, and every new generation does worse than the previous generation. It is painful to see man purposely embarking on a search to invent things that undermine the supremacy of God over man. Proverbs 17:11 KJV
