TITLE: DO NOT JOIN THE GROUP OF HAD I KNOWN
 
KEY TEXT: “Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it” (Isaiah 5:14 KJV).
 
The message of eternity, heaven and hellfire is now becoming a joke to most believers in this generation. Most Christians do not know the terror of hellfire, not to mention the unbelievers, and this state of spiritual unconsciousness is what gives Satan joy. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in his earthly ministry of human redemption warned and is still warning humanity about the existence and the danger of hellfire, but many are paying deaf ears to His warnings. Humanity has proven to hate to hear the truth about the gospel of Christ, not to talk about hellfire. You can even find people laughing and making jokes about hellfire. It is so sad that the hearts of people are being manipulated by Satan’s agents, recruiting souls into his empire of wickedness and evil. John 8:44-46 KJV
 
DO NOT FALL FOR HIS SCHEME:
Satan’s deceit coupled with man’s ignorance has damned many souls in hellfire. Hellfire was only meant for Satan and his demons, but Satan will not be foolish to be damned alone, hence he is doing all he can to drag souls in there. So many souls in hellfire today were ignorantly deceived by the agents of the old serpent the devil into believing that hellfire doesn’t exist (Hosea 4:6). Others have rejected the real gospel of truth and are now full of regret in hellfire saying, “Had I known!” Sadly, many are still on their way to a place of no return for rejecting the gospel of the old rugged cross and truth for which our Lord Jesus Christ died. John 3:16 KJV
 
TAKE HEED: This is a warning to you and me. The torment and horror in hellfire is indescribable. It is a place of everlasting pain, torture and agony. Satan knows his judgment is signed and sealed, this being the reason he is busy recruiting as many as possible into his dungeon of damnation. Please let us run away from all appearances of sin and its master the devil, and make our ways right in God’s complete holy standard, that our souls may be saved and to escape the eternal damnation. Please give your life to Jesus Christ if you are not yet born again. Revelation 21:8 KJV
 
PRAYER: O Lord my God, have mercy on me and forgive me of all my sins. Please wash me with your blood and help me to live a life worthy of entering into your Kingdom, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
 
REFLECTION: “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon” (Isaiah 55:7 KJV).
