TITLE: THIS IS A CRITICAL TIME

KEY TEXT: “Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come” (Matthew 24:42 KJV).

We are in the most dreadful and dangerous time in the history of man's existence on earth. No past generation has been as corrupt, rebellious, and wicked as the present generation of vipers. In the past, the children of God were wise enough to know how to overcome the evil and wickedness in their generation through the genuine fear of God that was in them. But it seems the professing children of God in our generation are the ones teaching the children of the world how to package their wickedness and make it look attractive. They teach them how to make sin and rebellion acceptable to the gullible people. 2 Corinthians 4:8-10 KJV

JESUS CHRIST TOLD YOU: Whatsoever that is happening now should not be strange to the believers. We were told by the Creator of the world Himself that things will turn this way, hence, He admonished us to be watchful and prayerful so that the spirit that works in the children of this world will not engulf us. Unfortunately, we are in a generation where believers are not ready for anything spiritual and godly, but instead, they are ready for damnable signs and wonders. We are in a generation of believers who want results from Heaven without prayer and obedience to the will of God. The judgment of God is coming upon this generation without Noah to build an ark for the safety of his family. Romans 8:18 KJV

NOT AT THIS TIME: We are also in a generation full of trouble and wickedness which should take sleep away from the children of God and keep them awake in prayers. This is definitely not the time for celebration and showcasing of blessings that have their beginning and end in this world. The fearful day of God is too close for one to be careless at this time. It is a time to watch and pray; a time for sober reflection and self revaluation. Are you amongst those who are jumping up and down seeking material blessings, while Heaven is searching for men that will stand at the altar of prayers? Repent and give yourself up to the demand from God. It is too dangerous to seek comfort in this world. 1 Corinthians 7:29 KJV

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, please have mercy on me and forgive me, in any way that I have forgotten what I have to stand for in my generation. I repent today and I will go onto the inner court of watching and praying, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: “Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee” (Revelation 3:3 KJV).
