WASHED BUT NOT CLEAN

Title: WASHED BUT NOT CLEAN

Key Text: John 13:10 KJV - Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.

What is the essence of one going to the bathroom to take a bath if not to bathe and be clean? How would you feel after spending time in the bathroom but came out to someone pointing at you, saying that there is a part of you that is dirty? Shameful, I think. That is how it would be if after all one thinks he or she was doing to make himself or herself clean by the Word of God, only to be pointed at by the devil, as an unclean soul. That would be a disaster! Have you ever come across the Scripture in the key text of today's Divine Inspiration and really pondered about it? Jesus Christ Himself was the One who took water and washed all the apostles' feet. Everyone would have expected all the apostles to be clean, since Jesus Christ did the washing, but it was not so. Jesus Christ said: "... ye are clean, but not all." Ephesians 5:26-27 KJV

Title: KEEP YOUR SALVATION SAFE TILL THE END

Key Text: Matthew 24:13 KJV - But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

The Scripture of today's key text was given to us by Jesus Christ Himself. It baffles me when some ministers of the gospel and believers say: "Once saved, always saved." This is damnable teaching capable of sending souls to hellfire. The Word of God clearly states that those who endure to the end shall be saved (Matthew 24:13). This could imply that those who endure halfway will not be saved. It does not matter how many times one has been to church, regardless of his or her confession, work, and other things done for or with God; it is only those who stay in the faith till the end that will be saved. Ezekiel 18:24 KJV

Title: REMEMBER YOU WILL RECEIVE RECIPROCATION

Key Text: Matthew 6:12 KJV - And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

The Bible passage of today's divine Inspiration is one of the many Bible passages I dread so much. The passage above tells us that when we are praying, the only way we could ask God to bless us is when we ourselves are a blessing to others. Basically, it is telling God to first check if we have forgiven others before asking Him to forgive us of our sins. Many believers do not truly understand this law of reciprocation called mutual giving and taking. You could see some believers having grudges or keeping malice with someone. They have an unforgiving spirit in them, yet they are asking God to bless them without fear of being smitten by God for disobeying His Word. 2 Corinthians 10:6 KJV

Title: WHAT HAPPENED TO MOST OF TODAY'S CHURCHES?

Key Text: Acts 5:5 KJV - And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.

Christ is weeping over most of today's churches whenever He remembers how the Church He left behind on earth was connected to Him in fear and trembling. Read the account of Ananias and Sapphira and how the Holy Spirit dealt with them as they connived together to lie to the church. Peter was not with them when they sold their land and kept back part of the money and brought the rest to the church. Peter, immediately knowing what they had done as Ananias brought the money, confronted him with questions, which made him fall down and die for lying to the Holy Spirit. Acts 5:1-11 KJV

Title: GO AND DO YOUR RESTITUTION

Key Text: Exodus 22:12 KJV - And if it be stolen from him, he shall make restitution unto the owner thereof.

According to the English dictionary, restitution is defined as a process of compensation for losses; the act of making good or compensating for loss or injury; a return or restoration to a previous condition or position. Now, you understand what the Word of God means when it says, “Restitute to the owner.” It is written: "If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep." Exodus 22:1 KJV

Title: STOP CHASING VANITY

Key Text: Psalm 144:4 KJV - Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.

Beloved, take a few minutes to ponder on the key text of today's divine inspiration for greater assimilation. It is made known to us that man is like to vanity, meaning man is as nothing. Therefore, if a man could be regarded as vanity, what could we say about the possessions of man? It means that man's possessions on earth are less than vanity. Can you now see that killing yourself and having unnecessary stress to be rich in this life is all vanity? In other words, it is totally an unwise decision to labour for the wind. Mark 8:35-36 KJV

Title: Do Not Ruin Your Soul

Key Text: Proverbs 20:2 KJV - The fear of a king is as the roaring of a lion: whoso provoketh him to anger sinneth against his own soul.

Everything God asks humanity to do is always for its own good. God is at the peak of His glory and does not need man's help to be what He is. Because He loves us so much, He gave us commandments to keep us from doing evil; but most people think that the commandments are a way for God to be a tyrant. We must understand that God is sovereign, the Almighty, and the Creator of everything. He has power over His creation, with or without the law or commandments. Remember, those who died in their sins before the law was given to Moses were a law unto themselves, and they were sent to hellfire. Romans 2:14 KJV

Title: Who Is God to You?

Key Text: Psalm 9:10 KJV - And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

The key text of today's divine inspiration is a very unique and vital one. You will understand what I am referring to when you carefully read and actively meditate on it. By reading this Scripture, you will assimilate almost all you need to be closer to God. Unbelievably, most Christians today stop halfway of what the Word of God says. We are enlightened by the key text of the three ways to be closer to God: Knowing God's name, trusting Him, and seeking Him. So many believers today end at either knowing God's name or trusting in Him, leaving the most important part (seeking Him), which would grant them eternal life. Those who only need God for protection and physical blessings, stop at number 1 and 2. They know His name and trust Him enough to give them their needs and protection, but they do not seek Him. Seeking Him entails wanting to know what God loves and hates. It means that you want to walk with Him and work for Him, irrespective of the condition and situation surrounding you. Isaiah 55:6 KJV

BEWARE OF THE ENEMIES WITHIN THE CHURCH

TITLE: BEWARE OF THE ENEMIES WITHIN THE CHURCH

KEY TEXT: Exodus 23:22 KJV - But if thou shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto thine enemies, and an adversary unto thine adversaries.

There are people who go to church with bad intentions. They are only there to destroy what is already established. Some of these agents of Satan are very zealous and are ready to give anything to win the hearts of the men of God or brethren that they see as the pillars of the church. They make friends with everyone in the church in order to pollute them against the congregation. They are ready to be in all the departments of the church in order to know the serious brethren in each department, so that they could drag them away from the way of God by gradually dropping polluting words in their minds to poison them. Psalm 118:8 KJV

Title: Do You Know the God You Are Calling on for Help?

Key Text: John 9:31 KJV - Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.

God always loves to establish a relationship before entering the level of using anyone to do His will or giving answers to anyone's prayers. It has been proven by the Scriptures that God does not speak to nor answer strangers; hence, He said that His sheep hear His voice, they follow Him, and He knows them by their names (John 10:27-28). Many people do not want to hear the word holiness or messages about the dangers of sin. They live their lives in chronic sin and wish and want men of God to pray for them, so they could get results while in their state of worldliness. Many people think they could bribe God through His servants. It is so sad that most people go to Church just to get something temporal from God, not to know Him. Ecclesiastes 5:1 KJV
