TITLE: THE POWER OF INTEGRITY (PART 2)

KEY TEXT: Colossians 3:23 KJV: “And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men.”

INTEGRITY AS A SHIELD: Integrity serves as a protective shield. In Psalm 25:21, David prayed, "Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee." This verse highlights that integrity preserves and protects those who uphold it. Integrity was the major factor that made God so much trust Job to the point He gave Satan permission to afflict him knowing he wouldn't betray his integrity. Luke 16:16

WALKING IN INTEGRITY: Walking in integrity means living consistently with God's commands. Proverbs 20:7 says, "The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him." This suggests that integrity not only benefits the individual but also extends blessings to their descendants. 1 Corinthians 15:58

INTEGRITY AND TRUSTWORTHINESS: A person of integrity can be trusted. Proverbs 28:6 states, "Better is the poor that walketh in his uprightness, than he that is perverse in his ways, though he be rich." This verse emphasizes that integrity is more valuable than wealth gained through dishonest means. Matthew 5:37

PRAYER: My Father and my God, have mercy on me in any way I have not been living a life of integrity. I repent and ask for the grace to live a life of integrity, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: Proverbs 20:7 KJV: “The just man walketh in his integrity: his children are blessed after him.”
