TITLE: THE POWER OF INTEGRITY (PART 3)

KEY TEXT: Colossians 1:11 KJV: “Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness.”

INTEGRITY IN TRIALS: Maintaining integrity, even in adversity, is crucial. Job exemplifies this in Job 2:3, where God says, "And still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause." Job's steadfastness in the face of trials was a testament to his unwavering integrity. HEBREWS 10:36

GOD'S TESTING OF INTEGRITY: God tests our integrity to refine and prove our faithfulness. Psalm 26:2 says, "Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart." David's plea showed a desire for God to test his integrity and purify his heart. ROMANS 5:3-4

INTEGRITY AND RIGHTEOUSNESS: Integrity is closely linked to righteousness. Proverbs 10:9 states, "He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known." Walking in integrity leads to security and confidence in one's actions. HEBREWS 1:9

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, please grant me the enduring grace to hold on to my integrity to the end, no matter what may come my way, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: James 1:12 KJV: “Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.”
