TITLE: GOD'S UNCHANGING DEMAND

KEY TEXT: Psalms 89:7 KJV: “God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, and to be had in reverence of all them that are about him.”

There is one thing that God will not stop demanding from the children of God, and that is the honor, and fear that is due to a Father and Master. If He is our Father and Master as we proclaim, we must fear Him. We see today how we fear men, how people fear their General Overseers, and are ready to use their head to defend them; even though they see the man doing the wrong thing. Psalms 66:2

They fear them so much, yet the fear of the Lord has been taken away from them. But God is saying, "I demand fear from you if actually I am a Father." We are adding sin to sin when we say God is our Father, while obeying the devil with what we do. Psalms 64:9

God asks in His word, “A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? saith the Lord of hosts unto you.” If actually God is our father, where is his honor? Is it in homosexuality that we are honoring him? Is it in lesbianism we are honoring him? Is it in our fornication, in our adultery, in whatever sin we are committing that we are honoring him?  The Lord is demanding, "Where is my honor if I be your father? And if I be a master to you, where is my fear?" Malachi 1:6

PRAYER: Lord Jesus Christ, fill me with the fear of God that will direct me to always live right before You, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: Psalms 96:4 KJV: “For the Lord is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.”
