TITLE: CONSISTENCY IN CHRISTIAN LIVING 

KEY TEXT: Ecclesiastes 9:10 KJV: “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.”

Consistency is a vital quality for anyone striving to live a faithful Christian life. It is through consistent actions, thoughts, and devotion that a believer can truly reflect the teachings of Christ and fulfill God's will.

Foundation of Consistency: The Bible urges believers to be steadfast in their faith. James 1:8 warns, "A double minded man is unstable in all his ways." A consistent Christian is firm in faith, not swayed by the changing circumstances of life. 1 CORINTHIANS 16:13

God’s Unchanging Nature: The ultimate model of consistency is God Himself. Malachi 3:6 states, "For I am the Lord, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed." God's unchanging nature provides a secure foundation for our faith and inspires us to be consistent in our walk with Him. PSALM 37:23

Walking in the Light: 1 John 1:7 emphasizes the need for consistent living: "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin." Walking in the light requires daily commitment and continuous effort. GALATIANS 5:1

PRAYER: Lord Jesus Christ, please empower and embolden me to stand firm in my daily walk with you, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. 

REFLECTION: Galatians 6:9 KJV: “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
