KEY TEXT: Matthew 24:43 KJV: “But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.”

Where Christ meets us determines where we will go on the last day. All we have to do is to follow in the footsteps of Christ with all our hearts and make the Word of God our way of life. We should occupy until He comes in holiness and righteousness. If you are occupying in holiness and righteousness, Christ will say, “Welcome thou good and faithful servant” but if you are occupying in witchcraft, hatred, immorality, etc., what befalls disobedient people will fall upon you. This is because whatever a man sows, he must reap. 2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV

The Lord has given everyone of us charge over the area we live, and how we should occupy, preach the gospel and win souls before the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He has bestowed talents upon everyone to use in various territories. Occupy means to fill or take up space or time. The Lord has commissioned us to take over the area we live. Christians are fearful today like the third servant who did nothing with what was given him. It is easier for them to do everything, but difficult to keep the charge of God by going out and winning souls. Matthew 25:24-25 KJV

Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour, has made it clear that the only way one can have better things is to let the good things go. Also, the better things must give way to the best things. Jesus Christ demonstrated this by bearing the pain, shame, humiliation, and horrible death on the cross of Calvary for the glory that was set for Him before the throne of God. He knew that His death would bring joy to the world and multiplication to the saints in Heaven. Hebrews 12:2 KJV

Most believers are fighting the gospel unknowingly. Some are using their own mouths to condemn and sentence themselves to hell by saying that they cannot live without sinning. Some say that they are like fish that cannot live without water, meaning they will continue to sin, since it is not possible to live a life free of sin. Hebrews 10:26-31 KJV

TITLE: BEWARE OF YOUR COUNSELOR

KEY TEXT: Psalm 1:1 KJV: “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.”

There is no one on the earth who has no counselor. Every action one takes is as a result of the advice gotten from his/her counselor. There are inner counselors and outer counselors. The inner counselors are two spirits from two different kingdoms. One is from the Kingdom of Light (God), which is the Holy Spirit, while the other is from the kingdom of darkness (Satan). Whichever of these two spirits one decides to make his/her inner counselor, he or she would gladly agree to do anything without hesitation. Joshua 24:15 KJV

It is very important for every believer to understand the danger of following Jesus Christ from afar. We read how Peter followed Him to fulfill the promise he had made to Him about suffering for His sake, even until death. When it was time for Peter to prove his love for Jesus Christ, he failed woefully by denying Him and following Him from a distance, waiting to see what would happen to Jesus Christ at the end. This is one statement amongst many from the mouth of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, that I dread so much. It is a sure warning to those who care to take heed. Jesus Christ, in His mercy, warned us to beware of wolves in sheep's clothing. All they know is how to prophesy and perform miracles in deception. They are arrogant men and women of god who boast in their abilities, possessions, and fame. Jesus Christ warned that they would send their captives to hell. Matthew 7:15 KJV

Have you been going everywhere looking for men of God or whatever it is to fight the enemy of your destiny for you? Wait a moment. Have you checked yourself to see if you are not the enemy that you are seeking to destroy? God is so merciful that instead of killing you (the actual enemy), He allowed you to go on in your pain until you come to the realization and free yourself from your self-inflicted bondage. Some Christians love to sleep and see miracles happen in their dreams. Satan knows that they want miracles that they did not work or pray for, so he manipulates their dreams, showing them so-called great and wonderful things about their lives. They wakeup and start going from church to church, telling pastors to pray for their dreams of laziness to come through. Proverbs 6:9-11 KJV

TITLE: MOUNTING UP WITH WINGS AS EAGLES (PART 3)

KEY TEXT: Deuteronomy 32:13 KJV: “He made him ride on the high places of the earth, that he might eat the increase of the fields; and he made him to suck honey out of the rock, and oil out of the flinty rock.”

As Christians, situations around us, even in the economy, should not affect us, because God is the Creator of Heaven and earth. God made Jacob to live above situations and made him eat honey from the rock. You know how it can be a process to extract honey, but He made him eat honey from a place he never laboured for. This can happen to you if you trust in God, because God never changes. Psalm 24:1 KJV

You are an eagle of the Lord, and you are not supposed to be found among the vultures that eat carcasses on the street. The eagle sees far and knows when an enemy is approaching. Unlike the eagle we are to be, we are usually blind and expose ourselves to the enemy. As the eagle spreads its wings to cover its young ones, so are we to be defenders of the Body of Christ and not destroyers of the Church. Job 39:27-30 KJV
