TITLE: CULTIVATE DAILY FAITH (PART 2)

KEY TEXT: James 1:6 KJV: “But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.”

FAITH FOR MIRACLES: When we look at the story of Jesus, and His miracle of turning water into wine, we see that Jesus told the servants to fill the pots with water. Those filling the pots may have looked at Jesus strangely, and some might have thought it was a waste of time. This is where man often fails. However, as they obeyed, wine was produced (John 2:5-10). Believing God in impossible situations creates an opportunity for His miraculous work. We must obey God, no matter how strange the instruction may seem. JOHN 2:5-10

STANDING FAITH: If you lack faith, your Christian life will not withstand the test of time. Are you going through a difficult period? Maintain your spiritual integrity by being faithful to the Word of God. There has never been anyone who faithfully and patiently waited on the Lord in times of need or trouble who has not been visited by God at His appointed time. There’s nothing a true child of God is experiencing that God is not aware of, especially those whom God has great future plans for. We need to cultivate the mindset of waiting for God's timing to fulfill what we know He will do. ISAIAH 60:22

STRENGTH WITH FAITH: Has God made any promises to you? Your role is to stay away from sin and wait patiently. God has no reason to deceive; in fact, His creations are so small that it wouldn’t matter to Him to lie. He will surely fulfill His promises to you if you don’t lose hope. Be strong, and courageous. A living faith can withstand the darkest storms. Remember, no storm lasts forever. Trouble comes to pass, not to stay. So don’t worry! The storm in your life right now will not last forever. ECCLESIASTES 3:1

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, help me to wait patiently for whatever promise you have for me, in faith, holiness, and righteousness. Grant me the strength to remain steadfast even after I have received my prayer request, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: Habakkuk 2:3 KJV: “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
