TITLE: .SETTLEMENT (PART 2)

KEY TEXT: Habakkuk 2:3 KJV: "For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."

Divine settlement often follows a period of trials and tribulations, serving as a testimony of God's faithfulness. As Peter writes, "But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you" (1 Peter 5:10)

God's promise to settle us is also seen in the life of Abraham. God called him out of his homeland and promised to make him a great nation. "And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing" (Genesis 12:2). Abraham's journey of faith ultimately led to divine settlement in the Promised Land. PSALMS 27:14

Divine settlement involves both physical and spiritual blessings. In Deuteronomy 28:11-12, God promises, "And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground. The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand." God never forgets his promises to his children, he will surely watch it to perform it. 2 CORINTHIANS 1:20

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, please grant me the grace to stand strong in your Word until my time for divine settlement comes, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: JOB 14:14 KJV: "If a man die, shall he live again? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come."
