*TITLE: THE FINGER OF GOD (PART 5)*

*KEY TEXT: Colossians 1:16 KJV: “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him*

*CALL TO RECOGNITION: The recognition of God’s work as being from His finger calls believers to acknowledge His power and authority in their lives. The magicians in Egypt, albeit reluctantly, acknowledged God's hand in the plagues (Exodus 8:19). Similarly, believers are called to see God's hand in the world around them and in their personal experiences. PSALMS 92:4-5*

*ENCOURAGEMENT OF FAITH: Understanding the "Finger of God" encourages faith in God’s power and presence. Just as Jesus used this term to demonstrate the presence of God's kingdom (Luke 11:20), believers can trust that God's power is active in the world today, reinforcing their faith and trust in His divine plan. PSALMS 40:5*

*ULTIMATE ASSURANCE: Finally, the "Finger of God" provides ultimate assurance of God's involvement in human history and individual lives. It serves as a reminder that God is not distant but actively engaged with His creation. His power, judgment, guidance, and care are continually at work, offering comfort and assurance to all who trust in Him. JOB 37:14-16*

*PRAYER: O Lord, put an end to every work of darkness in my life and family, and let your name be glorified through the glorious change and testimony, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.*
