*TITLE: BE ANXIOUS FOR NOTHING (PART 4)*

*KEY TEXT: John 16:33 KJV: “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”*

*Anxiety leads to covetousness, making you defy the word of God and create an environment to acquire things fraudulently. Don't allow Satan to engage you with the time you would have used to glorify God. Do you want to bring fruit to perfection according to the parable of the Sower? Do not worry about the cares of this world. Handle issues as they come, and be content each day. Luke 8:14*

*I am not saying you should not build wealth, but that you should empty your mind of things that will make you restless and ponder throughout the night, such that you will not be able to pray or reason accordingly. Achan brought destruction to the Israelites camp because he was anxious to be rich, not that he lacked anything. He followed his covetous way to bring damnation to his family. Any decision you take while anxious is likely to be outside God's divine purpose for your life. Joshua 7:21*

*Don't go outside God’s way to make your dreams come true. Stop being anxious of what you don't have; stay within God's provision and accept it with all faith. If you have the spirit of godliness and contentment, anxiety will not possess your soul because you will know that you did not bring anything in this world and you cannot take anything out. 1 Timothy 6:6-9*

*PRAYER: Almighty Father, help me to be content and grateful with the portion You have given me in this life, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.*
