TITLE: THE GREAT COMMISSION OF SOUL-WINNING

KEY TEXT: Mark 16:15-16 KJV: “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. [16] He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”

IMPORTANCE OF SOUL-WINNING: Soul-winning should be the heartbeat of every believer. We have been called to go out and help spread the gospel. Each of us has a unique calling where the Lord will use us. We need to expand heaven through soul-winning. You are saved to save others. You've repented to lead others to repentance. We can't hold onto the light of salvation we've received in silence but must radiate the light we've received to those in darkness. Those who have not been saved by God are in darkness, and only Jesus can remove that darkness. Matthew 28:19

PREACH TO ALL: We need to go out and preach to all men, not allowing fear to stop us from sharing the message. The fearful will only end in destruction, as highlighted in the book of Revelation 21:8. Overcoming the fear of man may seem like a challenge, but those who put their trust in the Lord shall overcome. We can't only preach to people we know but must also reach out to as many as the Lord can use us to touch. Salvation has appeared to all men, for people of all races. Proverbs 11:30

REWARD OF SOUL-WINNING: When we win souls, our mansions are being built. Slowly but steadily, God is preparing a place for us. We possess something greater than money, houses, cars, or careers. So, don't keep it to yourself; show the world what Jesus has done for you. Share the sins and bondage Jesus has delivered you from, making sure it's with the right motive. Be a soul-winner for Jesus, doing it for God alone. God, who rewards good deeds, will surely reward you with eternal rest. James 5:20

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, help me to go out and preach your word boldly reaching out to the unsaved, and continually use me as a mouthpiece for you to the unsaved, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: James 5:20 KJV: “Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.”
