TITLE: HOW DEDICATED ARE YOU TO GOD? (PART 2)

KEY TEXT: Romans 8:28 KJV: “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

True dedication to God involves serving Him wholeheartedly. Joshua 24:15 declares, "And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." We must make a conscious decision to prioritize God above all things. JOHN 14:15

Dedication to God requires sacrificial living. Romans 12:1 urges us to present our bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God, which is our reasonable service. This entails surrendering our desires and ambitions to God's will, willing to lay down our lives for His purpose. JOHN 8:29

Dedication to God involves seeking His kingdom above earthly treasures. Matthew 6:33 instructs us, "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." When we prioritize God's kingdom, He promises to provide for our needs. JOHN 4:21

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, grant me the grace to be truly and wholeheartedly dedicated to you and to your kingdom advancement, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: James 4:7 KJV: “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.”
