TITLE: BEAR FRUIT OR YOU WILL BE CUT DOWN (PART 4)

KEY TEXT: Luke 13:7 KJV: “Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?”

Some are spectators, inspecting those who are working, watching to see how far they will go. Keep on watching from a distance. On the last day, the Lord will tell you that He never called you to watch over those who were working but called you to be a worker. You need to watch yourself. If Christ should come next week, will He cut you down or will He see fruit in you? The choice is yours. God wants to see your faithful work. Matthew 20:7

What will you present to Him? Is it gossiping, jealousy, etc? I want us to understand that there is a watching; a digging around and a cutting down. Let us therefore be careful so that we will not be people who were promoted to perish. If we are here to serve God, let us follow Him. Let us stop running up and down. The Lord is looking for faithful stewardship (people He will look for in the night and they will be there for Him), not those like Judas Iscariot who was never fully with Jesus or with the Pharisees, and when the time came for Satan to look for somebody to use, he knew that Judas had never been stable and got him. 1 Corinthians 3:14

The reason why you are not bearing fruit is because you are unstable, jumping up and down. It is quite unfortunate that when some believers face certain situations and are offended, the first thing they do is drop the work of God. God told me that before I was born, the work was going on, and after I am gone, the work will still go on. He will never lack those He can use. 2 John 1:8

PRAYER: Almighty Father, please forgive me for the times I have been offended and quickly dropped your work. Restore me to my position and give me a stable spirit to the end, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: Matthew 16:27 KJV: “For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.”
