TITLE: HOW TO MAINTAIN ONE’S INTEGRITY AS A BELIEVER

KEY TEXT: Luke 16:10 KJV: “He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.”

BE ROOTED IN GOD'S WORD: "To maintain integrity as a Christian, it's essential to root oneself in God's word. Psalm 119:11 affirms this, stating, 'I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.' Regular study and meditation on the scripture provides guidance and strength to resist temptation and uphold integrity in all circumstances. By aligning our thoughts and actions with God's teachings, we fortify our moral compass and remain steadfast in our commitment to PROVERBS 20:7

PRACTICING HONESTY AND TRANSPARENCY: Honesty and transparency are foundational to maintaining integrity as a Christian. Ephesians 4:25 exhorts believers, 'Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body.' Cultivating a habit of truthfulness in our words and actions fosters trustworthiness and authenticity in our relationships. Through open communication and sincerity, we uphold the integrity of our witness as followers of Christ. COLOSSIANS 3:23

ACCOUNTABILITY AND HUMILITY: Accountability and humility play crucial roles in maintaining integrity within the Christian faith. James 5:16 encourages believers to confess their sins to one another and pray for one another so that they may be healed. By humbly acknowledging our shortcomings and seeking accountability within our Christian community, we foster a culture of transparency and growth. Through mutual support and accountability, we strive to live with integrity, continuously aligning our lives with the values and teachings of Christ. 2 CORINTHIANS 8:21

PRAYER: I receive the grace to maintain my integrity as the Salt of the earth and the light of the world, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: Philippians 4:8 KJV: “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
