TITLE: ETERNITY IS CERTAIN

KEY TEXT: Ecclesiastes 3:11 KJV: “He hath made every [thing] beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.”

Humans are shortsighted in memory. Man easily forgets things, expecially in times of want and abundance. Man could easily forget the eternal pain in hellfire when they are in distress, or when sickness strikes or when things are not going well with them. You would see some people trying to help themselves through sinful and damnable means. Some would say it doesn't matter where their decision is leading them to; all they need is a solution to the problem. They feel no pain could be more than what they are going through. They forgot a second in hellfire is worse than million years of pain on earth. Galatians 6:8

ETERNITY SETS FORTH WHEN THE BREATH IS GONE: Most people easily lose consciousness of eternity when they are in affluence. They easily forget that all they have to keep living is the breath in them. The breath could be taken away by the Owner at any time, and eternal sorrow begins from there. The rich could easily forget there is death. They take coverage from the abundance of wealth they possess, forgetting that death is a spirit and no amount of physical power or security can stop him when he visits an individual. Ecclesiastes 12:7

Human beings could easily forget how they came into this world. Man tends to always refuse to learn from brother Job who said that naked he came and naked he would go back to the land of no timing (Job 1:21). My beloved in Christ, in whatsoever state of life you may find yourself, it maybe rosy or suffering, don't forget heaven or hellfire are the only two options for your eternal destinations. The joy in heaven is indescribable just as the pain and horror in hellfire is beyond description. Repent of whatever sin you are committing before it is everlasting too late. 2 Corinthians 5:10

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, please have mercy on me, in any way I have forgotten the life after now, hence, living carelessly because of situation. I repent and receive the grace to live a holy life worthy of eternity in heaven, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: Hebrews 9:27 KJV: “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.”
