TITLE: YOUR SUBMISSION, NOT YOUR SITUATION (PART 3)

KEY TEXT: Romans 6:16 KJV: “Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?.”

God is holy and the blessing you are asking for is holy. You must be holy to be a recipient of that blessing. God is not the devil that will give you money and take your soul. So, whosoever you submit yourself to will be the one to bless you. If you serve the devil, expect payment from the devil; and anything he gives leads one to hell. It is only the blessing of God that adds no sorrow. Romans 6:13

Let us learn to take correction in humility before God. Repent from your sins and forsake them and all shall be well. Many people in hell would wish to be corrected once more. We are favoured to have a Father who corrects us all the time. Because king Josiah humbled himself when he heard God would destroy the nation of Israel, God heard him. That is exactly what God wants us to do, to submit ourselves to Him no matter the situation. 2 Kings 22:19

When you walk contrary to God, God will walk contrary to you. When you walk closely with Him, He will walk closely with you. Your prayer in iniquity will not save you. He will join your enemy to fight you. The Lord will remember you if you also remember to confess your sins and avoid them. Then your wound will be healed, the pregnancy will come and whatever it is you are looking for will come. Leviticus 26:40-42

PRAYER: Lord Jesus Christ, help me to take correction in humility and walk closely with you, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen
