TITLE: YOUR SUBMISSION, NOT YOUR SITUATION

KEY TEXT: 2 Chronicles 7:14 KJV: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

What God wants to see in you and what He wants you to present to Him is your submission, not your situation. Our submission to Him will bring our situation before Him. If you are submissive to God, your situation will come out by itself. He knows what to do about your situation when you are submissive to Him. Your submission to God will make Him forgive your sin and heal you, rather than presenting your situation before Him in iniquity. James 4:6

God only honours those who humble themselves in obedience to Him. When you obey the Lord, your situation and even Satan himself will obey you. As we humble ourselves before the Lord, He will make men to honour us. The Bible states, “Having in readiness to revenge all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled”. When your obedience is fulfilled before the Lord, you don't need to shout too much to God. However, when we shout in disobedience, praying in sin, we are only throwing stones to heaven. 2 Corinthians 10:5-6

When the time is not come, and you are running helter-skelter, you will keep running and outrun your blessing, even when that time comes. There is a due time set for your exaltation. There is a due time set aside for heaven to do that thing you are running up and down for. You are not supposed to run, just hide yourself in Him. 1 Peter 5:7

PRAYER: Lord Jesus Christ, forgive me for presenting my situation to you in my sin. I pray for the grace to submit myself totally to You in all obedience, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen

REFLECTION: James 4:10 KJV: Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.”
