TITLE: YOU WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE

KEY TEXT: Esther 4:13 KJV: “Then Mordecai commanded to answer Esther, Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king's house, more than all the Jews.”

You will not also escape. This was the message Mordecai sent to Queen Esther to make her understand that the king's palace would not shield her and her immediate family from the wrath of angry and envious Haman. Many of today's pastors’ wives don't really know the reason they are who they are by the mercy of God. They are so very comfortable with their husband's self-made throne, pursuing money and forgetting their own souls and the souls of those under the care of their husbands. Mark 8:36

Where Are The Queen Esther’s of Today?: While most of the general overseers’ and pastors’ wives are busy looking for the latest designer trousers, bags, shoes, make-up, artificial hair, jewelries, cars, etc., Queen Esther, in her time, abandoned all her royal adornments and preferred to die and risk her life to save God's people. She went into fasting and prayer for 3 days for the deliverance of her people. Hence, she said, “if I perish, I perish” as long as my people are delivered from the hands of this wicked Haman. Esther 4:1-17

YOU ARE ACCOUNTABLE: Most general overseers as they are called and their wives, don't care if all their members are in the trap of Satan and on their way to hellfire, as long as they have all their selfish needs met and enjoying their damnable possessions in iniquity. My beloved, you are who you are for a reason. Don't be selfish or egocentric. You will give an account of yourself to Him that put you in that position someday. Live your life to be a blessing to others and strive to always do things to please God. Philippians 2:3

PRAYER: My God and my Father, in your infinite mercy, give unto us, your children, shepherds and pastors that will genuinely care about our souls and their own souls, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: Jeremiah 3:15 KJV: “And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.”
