TITLE: RE-EVALUATE YOUR POSITION IN CHRIST 

KEY TEXT: 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV: “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”

Most people who claim to be Christians do not know what they are doing to themselves. They have no idea that the wrath of God awaits them if they are found guilty after death. I wonder if people realize the penalty that follows the sin of impersonation (one claiming to be what he/she is not). Most so-called believers cannot explain what makes them to be called believers, yet they claim to be believers. 3 John 1:11 KJV 

OLD THINGS MUST PASS AWAY: A majority of believers who claim to be Christians are still exhibiting their old nature of stealing, lying, fornicating, smoking, gossiping, witchcraft, bribery, polygamy, etc. In fact, they still have the Adamic nature in them. Satan is only watching and waiting till they sleep and never wake up again, so he can show them what impersonation is to God. John 3:3 KJV 

EVERYTHING BECOMES NEW: How are you a Christian when nothing is new about you? The Bible did not say some things became new, but everything. It is a serious matter. The life of Christ must take over the life of the old man in you in order for you to be called a Christian. Being a Christian is not by the name you bear, the church you attend, or the Christian background you came from. It is in the life of total submission to Jesus Christ. Luke 6:46 KJV 

PRAYER: O Lord, have mercy and forgive me, in any way I have been impersonating my identity as a Christian unknowingly. Please help me forsake my old nature so that I can have a new nature in Christ, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: Matthew 7:21 KJV: “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”
