TITLE: THE UNLIMITED POWER OF FAITH

KEY TEXT: Hebrews 11:1 KJV: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.“

Faith is an active partnership with God. When a believer is a person of faith, people are astonished at the evidence of God being in his or her life. Without faith, one’s life is void of active and intimate communication with God. Faith is also when one deliberately engages in studying and obeying God’s Word. Without obeying God’s Word, no one can receive his or her heart’s desires. John 9:31 KJV

Faith allows you to operate in an unlimited realm beyond human understanding, and it can get you where you never thought you could get to. Your level of faith determines how far you will go in life, and without it, you limit God’s hand. If your faith can say yes, God cannot say no. There is no problem under Heaven that can resist the power of faith. Everything is possible to those who believe. Matthew 17:20 KJV

Faith can sometimes look foolish. When there was no wine, Jesus told the servants to fill the pots with water. They obeyed, and there was wine (John 2:5-10). In John 21:3-6, Jesus told His disciples to cast their nets into the sea after they tried to catch fish all night. When they obeyed, they caught a lot of fish. Luke 17:6 KJV

NOTE: Wherever you are restless about anything, it means you do not have faith. It is also a sign of unbelief. Always examine how much faith you have in anything. Faith is when you share the responsibility with God. When you do your part, God will do His. 

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, please help me to be obedient and full of faith, so that I can please you and receive my heart’s desires, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. 

REFLECTION: 2 Corinthians 13:5 KJV: “Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?“
