TITLE: WORRY AND ANXIETY NEVER SUPPLY OUR NEEDS (PART 3)

KEY TEXT: Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Whenever we worry, we are indirectly telling God that He is not as powerful as He says He is. Worry can make you doubt God and His supremacy. It can make you forget the great things He has done for you before. This does not give glory to God but satan. ROMANS 15:13 KJV

The worst part of worrying is that it creates an open door for satan to come in. This makes him happy because he is the owner of worry. Whenever he comes in, he will start filling your mind with unnecessary thoughts and draw your attention away from God. You might start grumbling whenever you pray, and that prayer will not go to God but satan. EPHESIANS 4:27 KJV

Sometimes, the human nature might cause us to grumble, no matter how hard we try. Grumbling is not an act of faith, neither will it allow faith to work. God does not want to hear a prayer of grumbling and complaining. Rather, He wants to hear prayers of faith from His children. ROMANS 8:8 KJV

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, I want to trust you and depend on you in all things. Please, deliver me from the spirits of grumbling and murmuring, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: “Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be” (ROMANS 8:7 KJV).
