TITLE: THE LORDSHIP OF CHRIST IS INEVITABLE 

KEY TEXT: “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might” (Ephesians 6:10 KJV).

The key text says, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.” It is so simple and straightforward, but humans, in their rebellious minds, love to be independent from God, and by doing so, tying themselves under the bondage of satan. Many people think they are free because they can sleep and wake up every morning. They believe they are wealthy enough to take good care of themselves, thus becoming their own gods. Hebrews 9:27 KJV 

WHEN ALL HOPE IS LOST: One would think that the armed robbers, ritual killers, and kidnappers are fearless, strong, and powerful when they are on their evil missions with guns and charms. They act ruthlessly, and they command their victims as if they are in control of the universe. But you will see their hopelessness, nothingness, and powerlessness when they cry like babies, begging for mercy after being caught and paraded by officers. Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV

WHEN THE BREATH IS TAKEN: Eternity is where the stubborn souls on earth become mandatorily humble. Those who saw Jesus Christ as nothing on earth because they could feed themselves and were able to have anything they wanted to make themselves happy in this wicked world now see how hopeless they are in hell without Jesus Christ. Anyone who refuses to surrender to Jesus Christ while on earth would wish he or she had done so before his or her breath was taken. It is a pity that humanity prefers to rely on things outside God until there is no more hope to return to God. Beloved in Christ, you must do everything to follow Jesus Christ in holiness, so that you do not cry, “Had I known,” in hellfire. Proverbs 28:26 KJV

PRAYER: Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me, in any way I have lived independently from your Lordship. I humble myself today and am ready to totally surrender to your will and Lordship, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

REFLECTION: “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV).
