TITLE: A MINISTRY FOR ALL BELIEVERS 

KEY TEXT: “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation” (2 Corinthians 5:18 KJV).

Every true believer with a genuine salvation void of selfish, earthly desires should understand that he or she is called into a service to propagate the Kingdom of God. There is no believer without a calling. The call of reconciliatory ministry is a general calling for every Christian, and no position in the Church should make one outgrow the ministry of evangelism. Jesus Christ Himself lived, died, and resurrected in the ministry of reconciliation. 2 Corinthians 5:20 KJV 

RECONCILED TO RECONCILE OTHERS: Every Christian is a seed sowed, and Heaven expects the seed to germinate, grow, and bear fruit. You are reconciled to God, so that your family members and sinners out there could be reconciled to God through you. How many sinners have been reconciled to God since you became born again? Is Jesus Christ regretting calling you into the ministry of reconciliation, realizing how unfruitful and unproductive you are? Have you been in the Church for months or years and no one has come in through you, not even a family member? John 15:8 KJV 

JUST LIKE THE UNFRUITFUL FIG TREE: Many believers are like the parable of the fig tree in Luke 13:6-9, which the owner wanted to cut down because of its unfruitfulness, but another year of probation was given to it to see if it would become fruitful. No soul has come to Christ through you, yet that is not a burden to you. You are not concerned that you could be cut off anytime for being unproductive? Why should an angel and the Holy Spirit be given to you when you are a liability to God? You are still running from one pastor to another for prayers after many years of professing you are born again when you were expected to be directing people to God. Have a re-think about your life as a Christian and wake up to Heaven's expectation concerning you. 2 Timothy 4:5 KJV

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, have mercy on me for being unfruitful. I have been wasting my heavenly allocation for productivity, as one called into the ministry of reconciliation. I repent today and ask for the grace to take my evangelism duty seriously. Make me abundantly fruitful from now on, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. 

REFLECTION: “I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit” (John 15:1-2 KJV).
