TITLE: MAKE A DELIBERATE DECISION TO SERVE GOD

KEY TEXT: “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Joshua 24:15 KJV).

We are living in a time of chronic wickedness, madness, and lawlessness, even believers are now lawless by claiming they are no longer under the law. Even the law made by the government is of no concern to these believers, since they are under “lawless grace”. The Church that is supposed to be the mirror of correction to the world has become extremely worldly. Evil is prevailing much more in society, and almost everything is calling for one's attention to sin against God. Matthew 24:12 KJV

A DELIBERATE DECISION TO FOLLOW CHRIST IS DEMANDED: This is definitely not the time to be a push-starting Christian, unless you want to be like the fun-catching believers in most churches today, where all they do is go to church on Sundays and listen to stories of how the general overseer became wealthy, built houses in every nation, and met his beautiful, wonderful wife. These churches might even hire comedians to crack jokes, and afterwards, sell water and other materials while asking for donations, tithes, and offerings. Then, they close the service. What a hell-bound generation! Beloved in Christ, you must make a deliberate decision to save your soul. The same holiness and righteousness that are called a punishment by the dying church is the only way out of God’s wrath. You must come out of the church of Babylon and embrace God in holiness before it is too late. 1 Peter 2:9 KJV 

NO SITTING ON THE FENCE: While Jesus Christ was on earth, He repeatedly told His followers to learn to be decisive. He came to draw the line between worldliness and godliness; between God and mammon. It is so amazing to see how the Christians of today are manipulating themselves to balance in the middle, which has never existed. They are serving God outwardly but Satan inwardly. Many believers today proclaim Jesus Christ with their mouths, but their lifestyles obey Satan. Beloved, wisdom demands that we separate ourselves and stand out as true, Heaven-bound believers. Luke 16:13 KJV

PRAYER: O Lord, please give me the grace to stand out in my decisions and live in true holiness and righteousness during this perilous moment in the history of mankind, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.  

REFLECTION: “Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness” (2 Peter 3:17 KJV).
