TITLE: GO FOR THE HOLINESS OF GOD

KEY TEXT: “Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the Lord your God am holy” (Leviticus 19:2 KJV).

It does not matter what your pastor is teaching or what you choose to follow or believe. Every teaching or doctrine is a waste of time unless one is in consonance with the teachings of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Only those who are connected to Jesus Christ directly through the Holy Spirit can get the message and doctrine that is required to enter the Kingdom of God. Leviticus 11:44 KJV 

UNCOMPROMISED HOLINESS IS DEMANDED: Most churches that preach holiness are far from the holiness of God. Most of the holiness seen today is compromised holiness with man's standard. The holiness of God is pure, and nothing should be short of Heaven's standard if one is ready to practice God’s holiness. For anyone to be in God’s holiness, his or her thoughts about others, actions, reactions, heart, body, and everything about him or her must be pure and a mirror that others can see and behold the nature and likeness of God. 2 Corinthians 7:1 KJV

GOD’S HOLINESS IS SIMPLE: The holiness of man practiced by the carnal mind is one that is weighty. The holiness of man is like a burden, whereas the holiness of God lived through the Spirit is enjoyable. It is a normal life that is lived by the saints of Jesus Christ. The holiness of God is like one breathing with perfect lungs. Go for the holiness of God, pray, and ask God to reveal His holiness to you. It is painful to the flesh but gainful to the spirit. Remember, you are not of the flesh but of the Spirit of God. Romans 8:14 KJV
 
PRAYER: O Lord, my God, I drop every substandard holiness of man today. Please reveal Heaven’s standard of holiness to me, and let my flesh surrender to the will and holy desire of my spirit, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen. 

REFLECTION: “For I am the Lord that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy” (Leviticus 11:45 KJV).
