 TITLE: THE WORD OF GOD IS THE ULTIMATE

 KEY TEXT: “As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him” (Psalm 18:30 KJV).

 The Word of God is the foundation of the Body of Christ. There is no difference between the Word of God and Jesus Christ. There is nothing a child of God can do without the Word of God. Anointing, fasting, and praying cannot take the place of the Word of God. No general overseer, watchman, or whatever title one bears can take the place of the Word of God in the lives of those in the congregation. The Word of God is powerful, sharper than the sharpest sword, and a strong defense for the people of God in times of trouble. 2 Timothy 2:15 KJV

 THE PEOPLE OF GOD ARE IGNORANT: It is written: “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth” ( John 1:14 KJV). It is mind-boggling to see professing believers not trusting or living by the Word of God. They would call on the name of Jesus Christ, but run from the true Word of God. They forgot the Word cannot be separated from God Himself. God watches over His Word to bring it to a perfect fulfillment. Anywhere miracles are done without the Word of God is actually the manifestation of false spirits from the devil. Many children of God are under the influence of the devil unknowingly. Matthew 24:35 KJV

 GO BACK TO THE WORD OF GOD: So many churches today are without foundation. All people want to see in most churches are prophecies seven days a week, January to December. These congregations have no knowledge of God's Word, and all the man on the pulpit says, “Satan is a liar”, “Jesus Christ is love”, “Give to the poor”, “Be a kingdom builder by donating to the church. ” There is no rebuking of sin or mentioning of the judgment for those who die in sin. The message of holiness, restitution, and sanctification has no place in most churches. Today's professing believers tremble before their so-called pastors and general overseers who have no power over their own lives, neglecting the Word of God. They have no regard for the Word of God, which is the ultimate authority over all creatures. Psalm 119:105 KJV

 PRAYER: O Lord, my God, I am sorry for ever taking your Word for granted or being selectively obedient. I repent and receive the grace to fear and obey your Word, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

 REFLECTION: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16 KJV).
