TITLE: LOVING THE WORLD MORE THAN GOD'S COMMANDMENTS 

KEY TEXT: "Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah" (Psalm 52:3 KJV).

We are living in a time when believers, who are supposed to love the commands of God more than everything else, are doing everything to run from the laws of God to have freedom to live in sin. Job said that he loved the commandment of God more than his daily food (Job 23:12). It is mind-boggling to see that the things the Church used to lament over when done by the people of the world are now being joyfully and comfortably done by the Church today. Worldly things are now being done in the Church without any sign of shame or guilt. Believers who are supposed to be the light of the world in truth, have now become Satan's lying agents. Truth and holiness have been chased out of the Church of God. John 8:44 KJV 

HOW DOES JESUS CHRIST SEE YOU? Jesus Christ is lamenting over His Church. It is so amazing to see believers frowning their faces when the truth is being told to them. How will this generation bear the impending visitation of God's wrath? Believers now love to be lied to than to be told the truth that will save them from eternal damnation. Christians in this generation prefer empty promises for momentary happiness, even if they have to suffer damnation in hell afterwards. Are you a believer who loves sweet lies rather than accepting the painful truth that would bring everlasting joy? Jesus is lamenting over your soul and regretting the painful death He died for your sake. Proverbs 12:19 KJV 

ALL UNREPENTANT SINNERS HAVE A COMMON DESTINATION: It is so pathetic to see the children of God believing the lies of the devil. Many so-called men of gods today are saying that there is no sin and hell does not exist, and gullible Christians are happy to hear that sin does not exist when they know that they are living in sin and heading to hell. Many went to theology school to learn to preach lies, deception, empty promises, and resist and fight the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Notwithstanding, the judgment of God shall fall upon the preachers of lies and the hearers and believers of lies. Many believers shall find themselves in hell for the lies they enjoyed. My beloved in Christ, examine yourself and get rid of everything that is false, and stop trusting and finding comfort in lies. It is a pity that you, the reader of this message, will end up in hell unless you repent and forsake your sins. Luke 13:1-5, Ephesians 4:25 KJV 

PRAYER: O Lord, my God, have mercy on me for ever loving the pleasure of sin and hating the truth of the gospel. Deliver me from the power of sin, and grant me the grace to overcome the lying spirit that has taken over most churches in this generation, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen. 

REFLECTION: “Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight” (Proverbs 12:22 KJV).
