TOPIC: TAKE NOT HEAVEN FROM YOURSELF 
 
Key Text: 1 Peter 3:18 KJV - For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.  
 
The Word of God should make every believer tremble. Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, left His holy throne in heaven and suffered shamefully to save mankind from eternal damnation and God’s impending judgement. We need to ask ourselves a few questions: What are we doing to show that we are sincerely awaiting His coming? How much do we appreciate Him? How faithful are we in our walk with Him? Do we really have time for Him? Are we apportioning all the time we have to people, our families, and ourselves, forgetting that our souls need our attention the most? Isaiah 55:6-7 KJV 
 
ALL THAT IS MOST NEEDFUL IS MAKING IT INTO HEAVEN: Entering heaven should be the utmost desire of all God’s servants and children. The question now is: What are you doing to fulfil the desire of making it in the rapture? You have known Jesus Christ as a holy and just God. He will righteously judge everyone and is no respecter of persons. Men may highly rate and honour you, but this has nothing to do with God. You don't have to assume that you are making it into heaven based on the saying: "God is merciful," knowing fully well that many souls are languishing in hell, but it's too late for them. Humanity can only receive mercy while alive. There is NO more mercy after death. You need God's grace and mercy as you work hard every day. Hebrews 9:27 KJV
 
TAKE HEED TO GOD'S WORD: According to Acts 10:34, it's noteworthy to conclude that God is no respecter of persons. He's interested in people who fear Him and walk righteously. Do you fear God so much that you fear Him in all things? Do you really have time for God more than anything else in your life? It's needful to say that we must work out our salvation with fear and trembling. I, Apostle Emmanuel Osezele, understand that without holiness, no one can see the Lord. Every day, I ask myself: “Is my holiness enough to qualify me to see the Lord and have my place in heaven?” Hence, I daily plead for mercy as I strive toward the crown of my high calling in Christ. Luke 13:24 KJV 
 
CAUTION: Beloved, you must do away with anything that needs to be done away with in order to enter heaven. Jesus Christ will come when we least expect it. Nothing will matter anymore after the rapture. 
 
PRAYER: O Lord, my God, please take away everything that will prevent me from entering heaven. Please, Lord, give me the grace to be more focused on my walk with you, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
