Topic: Depart From Sin And Iniquity For Perfection
Key Text:  Isaiah 52:11 KJV - Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go ye out of the midst of her; be ye clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.

God demands that anyone doing His work should be clean and remain clean. It's totally non-negotiable for those who choose to walk with God and to work for Him to keep themselves away from sin. Those walking with God are supposed to have the mindset of holiness. For it's written: "But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy." 1 Peter 1:15-16 KJV 

God is holy and perfect, you are not supposed to be compelled or cajoled to live a holy life. Holiness should be the lifestyle of every true child of God. Being born again does not end in "Lord Jesus Christ, come into my life...." It's a total change from the old nature of Adam to the new nature of Christ. It's written: "Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect." Matthew 5:48 KJV

A true born again child of God should have power over sin and iniquity, his or her words must be seasoned, and the people he or she associate with should have the nature of Christ. A true believer must not be found in the midst of evildoers because the Holy Spirit rules all the time in the life of a true believer. The world and its fantasies have no power over a sanctified believer. Be a true born again believer if you are not yet one. It is written: "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death." Romans 8:1-2 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord, my God, please work on me until I become perfect as you demand of me, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen. 

Reflection: And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine. Leviticus 20:26 KJV
