Topic: Don't Neglect Your Restitution
Key Text: Numbers 5:7 KJV - Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed.

So many believers, even a vast majority of men and women of God run from the topic restitution. They feel it does not matter. What is restitution? It is a process of compensation for losses; the act of making good or compensating for loss or injury; a return or restoration to a previous condition or position. Now, you understand what the Word of God means when it says, restitute to the owner. If the world can understand what restitution is, then the Church of God should understand it better. Exodus 22:12 KJV

Return Your Stolen Properties: Don't be deceived, our God is a holy God and a righteous Judge. He will never justify you with your stolen properties when you have the opportunity to return them back to the owner. Jesus Christ saves sinners out of sin, and not into sin. Don't let your labour for Christ be in vain. You could be preaching, singing, and doing all the religious duties, but Satan will be waiting to accuse you before God if you fail to restitute. Revelation 12:10 KJV

What Will Be Your Defence Before God? Maybe you would want to use 2 Corinthians 5:17: "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." Yes, old things have passed away indeed, and you now have a new character, the nature of God, and a new life in Christ. Will your new nature still be comfortable living with your old stolen properties, fake identity, fraudulent money, illegal marriage, etc? God will not be happy seeing you with Satan's properties in your possession or something that belongs to someone else. We must judge ourselves so that we should not be judged. Give your life to Jesus Christ today, if you are not yet born again. 1 Corinthians 11:31 KJV

Prayer: O Lord, please grant me the grace and boldness to do all the restitutions I need to do for my salvation to be genuine and to see you in glory at last, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
