Topic: Are You Not Also a Betrayer of Christ?
Key Text: Matthew 26:15 - KJV And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.

A person can’t value someone more than what he or she thinks of him or her. Jesus Christ is valued differently by different people. Some take Jesus Christ as their Provider, so they rate Him according to what they think He can provide for them at a particular time; unfortunately, they are  ready to move on to other sources for “better” provision when they assume Jesus Christ can’t provide for their needs in a timely manner. Psalm 34:10 KJV 

Most Believers Are Worse Than Judas Iscariot: To Judas Iscariot, Jesus Christ was worth 30 pieces of silver and nothing more. If a pair of shoes were 30 pieces of silver, then that was Jesus Christ's worth to him. In Mark 14:5, a bottle of perfume that could have been sold for 300 pence was more valuable than Jesus Christ to Judas Iscariot, and in Matthew 26:13, he sold Jesus Christ for 30 pieces of silver. The three years of friendship, the miracles he saw, the Word of Life he heard, and the eternal life Jesus promised in John 15:1-3 meant nothing to him. All that mattered to Judas was what 30 silver pieces could afford him. Titus 2:7 KJV 

What Are You Selling Christ For? Beloved, there are many Judas Iscariots today, and most of them have ended up in hell. Anything that turns one's heart from following Jesus Christ is the price tag of selling Him. Many have betrayed Jesus Christ because of their positions, money, marriages, friends, miracles, prophecies, visas, earrings, necklaces, clothing, etc. I want you to examine yourself closely and point out whatever you are betraying Jesus Christ for. Those who died as Jesus Christ’s betrayer are regretting in hell. Repent now and give Jesus Christ the first place in your life from now on. Luke 9:23 KJV 

Prayer: Father, please have mercy and forgive me in any way I have traded you for anything. Please, grant me the grace to give you the first place in my life, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.
