Topic: Selective Obedience Is Equal To Disobedience 
Key Text: James 2:10 KJV - For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

The holiness of God is second to none. God values His Word more than any other thing one could ever think of. No word from the mouth of God should be considered little or irrelevant. The power of God is so mighty and great that He cannot speak, only for speaking sake. He has no reason to flatter anyone with His Word. Every word from God should be considered as God Himself. But many are ignorant of how much God values the word that comes out of His mouth. Hebrews 4:12 KJV 

Your Feelings And Position Are Irrelevant To God: God is a God of "what I tell one, I tell all." How you feel about His command is totally not His concern; but it's unfortunate that many of God's children obey God's Word according to how they feel. They only obey the ones they feel it's okay for them, concluding within themselves that it's God speaking, meanwhile on the contrary, it's the devil speaking. This is the case when the command is not what they want to hear. Matthew 7:21 KJV 

You Are Only What You Are On Earth: Some men of God have really grown to their own detriment that they can choose what to obey and what not to obey, even if it's so clear in the Word of God. They are able to streamline God's instructions to their followers who chooses to obey man, rather than God's Word. Everyone will be made to face the Righteous Judge someday, in a place of no return. Don't be selective in obeying God. Obedience is not by conviction, but by submission. Colossians 3:22 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord God, grant me the grace to overcome the forces behind selective obedience, so that I will not be considered foolish at last, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.

Reflection: For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. James 2:11 KJV
