Topic: The Power Of Forgiveness 
Key Text: Mark 11:25 KJV - And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

We are living in a world with a generation of human beings, who want to have what they themselves can never give out. A generation of people who want to be happy and joyful, yet looking for means to make others cry and weep. People who want to be on top, while walking on others. A generation of people whose tongue are full of curses, yet looking for those who will bless them. In fact, we are living in a very terrible generation of vipers and serpents. Colossians 3:13  KJV

You Will Reap What You Sow: It is written: "Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you" (Hosea 10:12). Some believers would read such a Scripture, yet wouldn't know what to do. One could only reap in mercy, if he or she sows in mercy. But most people expect to reap in mercy while sowing in wickedness. Some believers who are living in sin, especially unforgiveness, expect the gate of heaven to be open for them. And this has led millions of people to encounter an eternal disappointment at the gate of heaven. Matthew 6:15 KJV 

Sow Forgiveness and You Will Reap Mercy at last: Forgiveness is powerful, because it's the nature and character of God. There's no amount of sin that is above God's forgiveness and God expects all His children to have such a nature. For it is written: "For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment" (James 2:13 KJV). Do you want to face the wrath of God at last? Don't forgive those who have offended you, even when they plead for your forgiveness. Note that every true believer is expected to have the mind of Christ; the mind that does not retain grievances. But it's unfortunate that most professing believers have the mind of Satan. 1 Corinthians 2:16 KJV

Prayer: O Lord God, please have mercy on me and forgive me in any way I have not shown mercy or forgiven as I'm supposed to as a true child of yours. I repent today and ask that you give me the mind of Christ and grant me your complete nature, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen. 

Reflection: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Ephesians 4:32 KJV
