Topic: Don’t Look Down On Anyone

Key Text: Matthew 7:12 KJV - Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Beloved in Christ, this passage of the Bible marks the bedrock of true holiness and righteousness in the church. Not until you're able to put others in your shoes, you do not have the mind of Christ. You are not yet a true believer, if you could still do hurtful things to others, or hurt others without considering how it would be if it were done to you. It's really sad that some believers are worse than unbelievers. Many believers have stony hearts. Why? Because they are only born again for their own selfish interests. Luke 6:31 KJV 

Do You Truly Love God?  It's very easy for one to say he or she loves God. But how can you profess that you love God, when you always find it joyful seeing others around you living in pain? You are born again as you said, but do you have the life of Christ in you? Only those having the mind of Christ can genuinely love and care for others. "For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ" (1 Corinthians 2:16 KJV). Do you want your prayers and supplications to be answered speedily by God? You must have the mind of Christ and the genuine love of Christ in you. 1 John 4:20 KJV 

Do You Love To Be Celebrated By Others? Do you want others to celebrate you? Do you want to be honoured by others? Learn to honour and celebrate others too. Some believers, including some ministers of the gospel have made themselves lord over the people around them and over their congregations. This is selfishness and wickedness, and none of such will enter into the Kingdom of God. We must learn to give others what we love to get from them. 1 Peter 2:17; 1 Peter 5:3 KJV 

Learn To Consider Others: It is written, "And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works." We are to consider one another in all things, and must learn to love, pray, and care for one another if we want to be loved and cared for by others. See what the Bible says, "For consider him Jesus Christ that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds" (Hebrews 12:3). We all must learn from this Bible verse and make our ways right with one another. Hebrews 10:24 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord my God, have mercy and forgive me in any way I have been thinking of myself only and taking others as nothing. Please, let the mind of Christ be given to me, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen. 

Reflection: A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. John 13:34 KJV
