Topic: What Are You Seeking Jesus Christ For?
Key Text: John 6:26 KJV - Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled. 

Jesus Christ knows those who are seeking Him for the love they have for Him and have chosen to be closer to Him and worship Him as their Lord and Saviour. All they want from Jesus Christ is the life that comes from Him through His Word. They are ready to go extra miles with Jesus Christ to prove their love for Him. These set of believers are only concerned about seeing their Lord and Master Jesus Christ face to face on the last day, in glory. Exodus 20:3-5 KJV 

Are You A Jesus Christ Seeker Or Miracle Seeker? Just as Jesus Christ told the people in our key text that they were not seeking Him to serve Him, but sought Him to meet their selfish fleshly interests. Jesus Christ knows His own. His own follows Him ALONE as the disciples did while He was on earth physically. Many believers, especially those who call themselves holiness believers, are only looking for who will give them prophecies, irrespective of the spirit behind the prophet. Shame on such believers! John 6:27 KJV
 
The Wasting Away Believers: Some so-called holiness believers think they can deceive God or the devil. They pretend to be holy, yet they still run after false prophets and witch doctors. Their portion in hellfire will be ten times hotter than those who are just living in iniquity as their occupation. Some believers can't point out who their pastor really is; they have more than ten pastors with different functions. Some for miracles, others for advice, and some for prophecy etc. Satan is joyfully waiting for your soul in hellfire if you are one of such believers. Repent now before it's too late. Luke 16:13 KJV

Prayer: O Lord my God, give me the grace to be a true believer as I profess to be. I want to follow you and you alone irrespective of what I'm going through or might have to go through, as long as heaven is sure for me, in Jesus Christ's mighty name. Amen.
