Topic: Stop Complaining And Start Overcoming
Key Text: Exodus 17:3 KJV - And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that thou hast brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst? 

The aspect of complaining is very detrimental in the life of a believer. Christians end up chasing the Spirit of God away from their lives once they start complaining over issues that could have been easily overcome with the help of the Holy Spirit. When people start to complain, the ability to effectively think right to end with a positive result is hindered; hence, unnecessary mistakes and errors that could have been avoided start to occur and may sometimes lead to chaos and regrets. Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV

Learn From The Children Of Israel: God in His might and power was ready to do everything for the Israelites to journey through the wilderness for 40 days and into the promised land. But sadly, their rebellious, complaining, and murmuring attitudes hindered their journey and elongated it to 40 years, with many of them being destroyed. Similarly today, God has given the Holy Spirit as a helper and a guide to lead the children of God into overcoming the situations of life, but instead of always meditating and letting the Spirit of God take control over situations, many murmur and chase away the Spirit of God from their lives. When this happens, you find them struggling, and at some point, devising evil means. Some start doubting God's existence, while others completely fall out of the faith. John 16:13-15 KJV

You Can Overcome That Situation: Every situation that comes to a believer is equal to his or her capability to handle. Apostle Paul cried during his days on earth and God told him that His grace was sufficient for him. That same grace has been given to you to overcome that situation in your life; only with all obedience, trust and believe that God is there for you. He said, "When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee." Isaiah 43:2 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord, I receive the grace to overcome every situation that comes my way to the glory of God, in Jesus Christ’s mighty name. Amen.

Reflection: And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9 KJV
