Topic: GOD DOES WHAT HE SAYS
Key Text: Habakkuk 2:3 KJV -For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

There is joy in waiting on the promises of God in one's life. God has no reason to lie nor flatter anyone. He says exactly what He will do and He does exactly what He says. Has God promised to bless you, and to empower you glorify Himself in your life? Patiently wait on Him; you have no reason to run up and down seeking men and women of God to help you talk to God to do what He has promised. Psalms 37:34 KJV 

All you need is to keep your side of the covenant of promise. Let sin be far from your dwelling; as only sin could prolong the promises of God concerning one's life. Many have gone to the grave without receiving the promises of God concerning their lives, why? Because some were impatient and trying to do it themselves, while others broke the hedge by committing sin and the serpent bit them before the time of fulfillment. Psalms 37:7 KJV 

When talking about the promises of God, I am not talking about the false promises one receives from false prophets who prophesy to make one happy; or to collect the little money in one's hand to enrich themselves. This is one reason everyone must learn to seek God. He spoke to Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Peter, and the rest of our forefathers who had gone to heaven in the bible. They all waited patiently and received the promises of God concerning them. He could also speak to you if you purge yourself before Him in holiness and true righteousness. You must be born again to access God's kingdom. Psalms 27:14 KJV 

Prayer: O Lord my God, grant me the grace to wait upon your word and promises concerning my life patiently without wavering; as I purge myself in the blood of Jesus Christ daily; in Jesus Christ mighty name. Amen.

Reflection: If a man die, shall he live [again]? all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come. Job 14:14 KJV
