Topic: TAKE HEED OF THE WARNING TRUMPET 
Key Text: Joel 2:1 KJV- Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand.

Right from Adam until now, the Lord has never done anything without first sounding a warning to the people. Only the wise will hear, take heed and do what the Lord commanded. On the other hand, fools hear and take it for granted and then face their doom - Ezekiel 33:4. 

Just as it was in the days of Noah, the trumpet was blown to the hearing of the people, warning them of the impending destruction. But they mocked Noah the preacher and kept living in their sins until the day of their doom, when there was no more remedy. So shall it be in this wicked  generation - Mathew 23:33, Genesis 6:13-22, Genesis 7, 8.

The Lord is sounding the warning again, of the end of all things. The warning of the impending Judgment has been sounding but many are taking it for granted and they keep living in their sins. I tell you this. You will surely give account of the life that you lived here on earth to God some day - 2 Corinthians 5 : 10.

Repent of your sins now before it is too late. You know the life you are living now that would make hell fire to be your eternal home. Repent from it now, that you still have breath in you. A time is coming when you will seek and cry to do so, but it will be too late - Hebrews 9:27.

Prayer: O Lord my God, please open the ears of your lost children that they may hear the sound of the impending judgment and repent of their sins in Jesus Christ mighty name, amen.

Reflection: Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come - Joel 1:15 KJV.
